    Ad blocker needed

Can someone recommend me an ad blocker for me, that doesn't require you to install one of there handy dandy bs extra programs to use or does not require you to buy there software suite.

I am slowly getting frustrated at the options I have found.

    Thank you in advance.

I just use Adblock Plus extension for Firefox. Haven't seen an add or pop up in ages.

Which browser do you use? Adblock, Adblock Plus, and Adblock Edge are all good options. Also consider using noscript.

Self-promoting plug: don't forget to white list R3D!

Found (ublock) for Firefox recently. Seems to work pretty nicely.
Some benchmarking tests between ublock and adblock plus.

Adblock + here. Never had a complain about it, also never heard of ublock.

Firefox html5 streaming (tested on Youtube) is absolute balls for me too. Random issues with playback stopping midway and audio popping out.

I was having some weird issues with streaming video (YouTube) on FF a while back too, but at some point it just stopped happening.

Chocked it up to a update somewhere fixed it.

this may not be the best option, but it works pretty well....

How about a system-wide Ad Blocker. No applications are needed for this. The process is similar to Ad-Away for Android.

Grab a adblock hosts file and add the hosts to your \Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file.

                        Example: http://adaway.org/hosts.txt

Blocks ads and malicious hosts, system-wide!

Google, no-ads.PAC. used that before adblock was invented.
