    Enterprise-Grade Conferencing Solution?

We're looking at a few options:

    Microsoft Lync 2013
    Cisco Jabber
    Polycom CMA Desktop

for internal, external video conferencing and internal chat

Lync 2013 sounds like the most comprehensive, flexible, and versatile one of the three, but it also requires drastic changes to infrastructure which we'd rather avoid (adding 8 servers totaling 160GB of RAM and new load balancers!!!).

Has anyone any experience with the other two?

In this case, we can't go with a hosted solution...

We use Lync and if you are looking for connectivity everywhere, it works well (office, home, mobile).

From the perspective of actual hard-ware, both Cisco and Polycom make great hardware.

Also, Google just announced Chromecast for the office, and Dell has their Cloud-Connect solution that looks sweet.

We've had pretty good success with WebEx.
I was banned from P&R because I refer to it as an echo chamber.

Echo Chamber - "an environment in which a person encounters only beliefs or opinions that coincide with their own, so that their existing views are reinforced and alternative ideas are not considered."

This is considered trolling and a personal attack according to Curio. FYI in case you decide to step in there. I wonder if the definition of irony is known...
