SoundMax Driver error

    SoundMax Driver error

    I have Asus Striker II Extreme motherboard and the audio chipset is from SoundMax, I downloaded the drivers from Asus' website but I always get the error in the screenshot.

    I tried many things like turning off UAC, copying that file sffxcomm.dll to syswow64 folder but I still cant install it successfully

    I run win 7 64 bit version.

    which driver version are you using? try this one

      doesn't work.
      I installed the driver 10 mins ago manually but I don't have the SoundMax Control Panel

        Try installing the ASUS recommended Version 6.10.1.6585 over the top?

        The error message makes me think there is a problem with the downloaded package, or the Windows install itself. Do you have updated drivers for the network connection installed? If you have another PC to download on, try that and moving the installer over by USB/CD (not network) gets any better results.
