what prices that are not rumor and fud and all from EU prices ?

the 570x prices were the same before launch and then only a few were very high and prices dropped in a few months

and what prices today on anything are not nuts

are intel new mobo prices any better ?
and you plan on not buying a new MB every time with intel

some of the AMD MB pricing is most likely that a lot of people keep those MB for the whole 3 year warranty and longer and just replace the cpu two or three times

they will drop on release and i don't like MSI anyway

but i don't need one at 4k ASAP so will wait 3 to 6 months for the sales

That $2099 was a bundle with 32GB of DDR5 (when DDR5 was extremely expensive as well) and an AIO included; it was not the price of the board alone.

MSI is better than ASUS these days. You're missing out

Buildzoid seems to think that anything above ~$500 is going to be a whale tax for the x670e boards, at least when it comes to the expensive **** that isn't actually catered towards OC/extreme OC.

AKA boards like the ACE and probably the godlike.

If I can't get a X670 with 16x slot, 2.5Gb ethernet and WiFi6E on launch for $350 or less. Then I'm out until B650E pops up.

You may not, WiFi 6E will put you over from what I've seen.

the x670 crosshair hero will most be about 500 up from 400

but i think they are all in for very slow sales

inflation and the death of mining and not being locked in

few are spending on nonessentials now or for the next year or so i think

Same thing happened to me when I upgraded to the 9900k. I was really wanting to go AMD but the motherboards were too expensive. The price for me to go flagship Intel with a top tier ASUS MB and ram was like $100~$200 less than going AMD.

                                  AMD motherboards are pricy.

They're charging $600 for the Z690 HERO now. You think they're gonna sell it for less on AMD? lol..

Looking at $800 easily. I'd expect $899 MSRP for the Crosshair HERO.

The prices Andino posted are insane. You’ve got to be kidding me.

Not only no but **** no. I’ll definitely not be buying on launch then. Over 500$ for a prime board they can get stuffed.

Euro prices never cross over right to USD it's the value added tax

we go thro this every time and they are always high just before release
i'll wait and see before i get worked up about it

and if they do price that high then wait a bit they will come down fast when they get low sales in this inflation environment

i can wait them out unless this CPU and MB are 2x faster than my 5900x it won't matter that much at 4k anyway

I can tell that you haven't been keeping track of motherboard pricing for a while.

I paid $495.00 plus tax for my Asus Maximus Formula XI in June 2019.
Z690 Asus Formulas just went on sale for $800.00 which is their MSRP. They were selling for $1000.00 a few weeks ago.

For those counting, that $800 price tag is just about a 62% increase in just over three years.

and if they do price that high then wait a bit they will come down fast when they get low sales in this inflation environment
Hell, my board is selling for $400.00 right now and it's a 9th generation intel board.

Hell, my board is selling for $400.00 right now and it's a 9th generation intel board.

How long are you planning on waiting?
i paid 379 for two 2 of the asus x570 crosshair viii hero wifi i got and 399 for the first one

My E series strix board from asus was $350 for the 9900K I bought four years ago. The new E series from asus is priced at $710 according to the leak from asus HQ in china. The Maximus board I bought with built in EK water cooler was 600 and now asus's highest end board is $1300. Prices have doubled over the last four years unfortunatly. The cheapest asus board you can buy for the 7000 series will be $385. Very pricey and if you want a full feature set you are looking at $500 to $700. They cost the same price as the CPU now.
