Just added a storage activity light to the Phanteks case... they didn't have one. Not really necessary (especially these days), but I'm old and set in my ways. The button on top is ringed with clear plastic that glows/blue/white when the case is on. It's transmitting from a pair of LEDs underneath the button. I snaked a long cable to a red LED that I inserted between them. Now when there is storage activity blue/white changes to red/purple momentarily.

First new build in a VERY long time as I've been piecemealing it for a dozen years, but my old case is now too short for the new graphics cards (4080). Phanteks P600S is sooo nice to work in and quiet. I opted for the solid panel because it'll be up against a wall anyway.

Yes desk is 100cm. It does look closer in photo. I can't touch the screen even if I'm leaning forward, it's beyond my reach. Desk on the left is 75cm deep.

Isn't that too close for eyes? I would probably go blind if I sat that close? Might be the angle? Is the desk depth about 100 cm?

Is that the new lg square monitor on the right? What do you usually use the left monitor for? The tall monitor doesn't look ergonomic to use.

Well screw it then. I am not touching my system until the next build. Pretty unhappy with the EVO11D and will move to a bigger case to accommodate all the crap I have in my case.

    Yes Enthoo 719

All cables have to be matched to PSU/model. If you mismatch, you could very easily short out the entire PC/PSU/component as the pin-outs are different across models.

demo is that the Enthoo 719?

No idea if it will work with EVGA PSU. I've read the 24 pin outs can be different across PSU's but not sure if that applies to pcie cables as well.

The 1TB Rocket 4 is on the motherboard M.2_1. Two 8TB Rocket Qs on the GEN-Z.2 card. The 3rd 8TB Rocket Q in an M.2 to PCI-E 4X slot adapter with heatsink in the bottom 4X slot.

Did all that so I can retain 16X PCI-E 4.0 for the 4090.

It's always subjective. It's much quieter compared to when I had a 12900K and 3090. The 3090 Ti that replaced the 3090 was a bit quieter. This new 4090 is much quieter. The 7950X uses a lot less power compared to the 12900KS so I keep fan RPM low on the new 420mm AIO. It has a lot of surface area to dissipate heat.

I'm still waiting on a window vent panel to arrive. But until then, the setup's largely complete. Now to just add some decoration.

The back wall I think I'm going to take all the shelving down and paint a dark gray or near black color to give the room a bit more personality.

It’s open case. Exhaust works better as pulling air in from the back (pc against a wall) does nothing. I just need air dissipated out of the area so except bottom everything is exhaust. In a closed case yes it should be intake at the back.

KAC I'm kinda surprised to see you running 7 exhaust fans to 3 intake. Doesn't make much sense for the air flow?

Is the top rad an intake? It looks like exhaust but it's a little hard to be sure.

I'd flip the side fans to intake at a minimum if you don't want to make the AIO an intake.

Post some pics of your trash setup so we can judge.

There are a couple of reasons why I dislike the O11D XL:

1.) The USB-C front port is not 10Gbps. I use an Asus Arion with a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB in it and I can get nowhere near the speed of the drive due to the fact that USB-C port on the front is pretty much trash. I purchased a 6ft USB-C Super Speed cable to run to the port on the IO of the motherboard and can max out the speed without issue.

2.) The length of PSU supported is incorrect. I contacted LianLi on this after purchasing the case based on what they originally spec'd on chassiss support for PSU's. The AX1500i should've fit but it didn't I had to cut a portion of the chassiss out for it to work. LianLi has since changed the supported PSU length without contanct.

3.) With the case being lists as XL meaning extra large would indicate that it would have ample room to work in for both aircooling and liquid cooling, but its not. I've worked in mid-tower cases that had more room to work with then the XL.

4.) Cable managing is a pain. Even with using LianLi UNI fans I still have a rats nest of cables in the chassiss that are hard to hide. Especcially when you have to use a fan hub or two. Depending on how many components, fans, hubs etc I would recommend looking at something larger.

I thought it had good space until I went with a custom loop. For air cooling, there's plenty of room in there. With the res and rads though.. not so much. Case shrunk tremendously lol

The XL isn't very XL, the case is just too small for anything really. I don't like working in mine and I am currently looking at maybe getting something new.

I like the entire front glass panel and the side panel, just need to browse more.
