Currently have my office torn apart, finally getting around to actually furnishing and completing it.
Picked up a nice larger desk to replace my current p.o.s and file cabinet. Now I can start working on getting my office looking all manly, lolLast edited by kingofslackerz; Jul 7, 2012, 03:49 PM.

My new build with CoolerMaster Cosmos II case, Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard, and an EVGA GTX 680. There are no fancy lights and what not inside the case because it doesn't come with a window and for the most part the position of the case in my room means if it did have a window it would be facing a wall anyways.

If you are moving to after-market, that's not a bad option. I am using one of their coolers now and I am within a degree or two of my old H80 and it is silent for all intents and purposes.

I'll get a pic or two of the new windowed side panel I ordered..
The standard panel has a dent and scratch in it now. >.< Pretty sure the cat knocked something off the cat tree (next to the machine) and dented the panel.Originally posted by RedeemedGranted, this is coming from the fella' who's had over 1,000lbs of bucking muscle under neath him.Originally posted by John Smith"Fail" = verb "Failure" = noun

Actually a thought in regards to graphics cards powersupply connectors why is it they are all on the out side of the cards, it makes it nearly impossible to hide the wires.Last edited by CoolNitro; Jul 8, 2012, 09:43 PM.

My previous Palit 580 3GB cards were unusable in Tri-SLI. I had to return the third card. Even a sound card can heavily disturb the cooling performance of those custom coolers.

I suspect others will weigh in with different opinions though.

I had a couple of galaxy GTX 560s and if I had one in the top slot it would top out at 70c with the default fan profile. If I popped in a second card the top card would 100% fan speed and temps would be in the 90s. I had to hang a fan over the cards to force air in there to keep temps in check.
Thats part of the reason that I switched to the case that I use now. If it weren't for my side fans I would be willing to bet that my direct cu2 cards would see similar results. I would never be able to do tri-sli with these coolers.Originally posted by ManglerGood work guys, we can't have too many positive posts in a row on this forum.
