Currently have my office torn apart, finally getting around to actually furnishing and completing it.

Picked up a nice larger desk to replace my current p.o.s and file cabinet. Now I can start working on getting my office looking all manly, lol

My new build with CoolerMaster Cosmos II case, Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard, and an EVGA GTX 680. There are no fancy lights and what not inside the case because it doesn't come with a window and for the most part the position of the case in my room means if it did have a window it would be facing a wall anyways.

Very nice CoolNitro but you go all out with everything else except stock CPU cooling?? Please tell me after market cooler is on the way.

CPU cooler wasn't within my budget at the time but nether was overclocking for the time being, I haven't gotten around to testing temps while gaming but for a stock system I would guess they are good.

The Hyper series is like 20 bucks or so and gives you excellent cooling (see if it will fit in your case due to height though).

If you are moving to after-market, that's not a bad option. I am using one of their coolers now and I am within a degree or two of my old H80 and it is silent for all intents and purposes.

Within a degree or so of an H80? What clocks are you running?

With the same fans my H60 out performed my old true.

Stock. I don't have any need to overclock even when using handbrake or other intensive items

I'll get a pic or two of the new windowed side panel I ordered..

The standard panel has a dent and scratch in it now. >.< Pretty sure the cat knocked something off the cat tree (next to the machine) and dented the panel.

Haha I don't think he'll have a height issue since he's using the monstrous CoolerMaster Cosmos II.

I have the same PSU and felt the exact same way when I installed it. Basically "Well, damn..that was a bad idea"

Temps tbh aren't bad considering the motherboard is dynamically overclocking anyways I caught it the other day while testing skyrim with a clock of 3.9Ghz but as far as temps go it never went above 41c which for a stock cooler I'm surprised about.

Actually a thought in regards to graphics cards powersupply connectors why is it they are all on the out side of the cards, it makes it nearly impossible to hide the wires.

He is right, those blower style coolers are the way to go for sli or crossfire. With those aftermarket designs you really have to find a way to force air inbetween the cards and thats with a space in between them.

I had a couple of galaxy GTX 560s and if I had one in the top slot it would top out at 70c with the default fan profile. If I popped in a second card the top card would 100% fan speed and temps would be in the 90s. I had to hang a fan over the cards to force air in there to keep temps in check.

Thats part of the reason that I switched to the case that I use now. If it weren't for my side fans I would be willing to bet that my direct cu2 cards would see similar results. I would never be able to do tri-sli with these coolers.
