It's not DC's (yet)
http://www.l3p.nl/files/Hardware/Deskmod/l3pd3sklogo.jpg Hi there:) I'm quite new to this forum, but since they liked my build at some Dutch hardware sites, i wanted to post it here too. My other build came to an end and didn't know what to improve, but my old desk almost fell apart. http://www.l3p.nl/files/Hardware/Deskmod/02072010159%20%5B%5D.jpg"Hi,
please refrain from telling other forum members to "Go eat a buffet of dicks." in the future.

I ended up pulling the coolers since the pump on the H40 grinds like crazy. I'm not going to put up with that.
It seems like replacing the TIM on the direct cu 2 coolers dropped temps a good few degrees. Between that and adding a fan on the bottom of the case the temps aren't too far off from what I saw with the H40 and HR-03 now.
Sadly, I think that I'm going to return the H100. Its a good thing that I bought that at a best buy. Once again the pump is just too loud. It isn't worse than the H40 but it is quite a bit louder than my H60. I'm not going to get a replacement either. It does a good job and all my H60 does a good enough job at a voltage that I feel comfortable feeding the card. I'm not about to break 1.45v with loadline 24/7.Originally posted by ManglerGood work guys, we can't have too many positive posts in a row on this forum.

Originally posted by BababooeyHTJ View PostYeah, I noticed a sticky on Corsair forums saying that they're looking into what is causing that. The H60 actually uses the same pump and mine is very quiet.
The products are excellent but all the pumps used, including the H100, have similar thrashing problems caused by air bubbles. Some fix themselves after you do a few things, others never do.
I went through 3 H80's personally before just switching to a massive air cooler for my systemThey work great but the noise is really irritating unfortunately, if you are unlucky enough to have one of the problem pumps. Really great products, just unfortunate some don't have the air out
