Noctua NH-U12P. You made an error installing it though. Grab that big box it came in and take a look at the packet that held the fan clips. Yup, you forgot to put in the silicone vibration isolation strips

Oh yeah, nice rig, always cool when someone shares. It is regrettable that many personal fortunes are made by people who simply manipulate money and contribute nothing to their society.

Finally replaced my nearly 4 year old iMac, this time with a Mini. The processor isn't much of a jump, and the HDD is probably a slight step backwards. But with 8GB of RAM and a graphics chip that's actually *supported* it runs circles around the iMac for my needs.
Figured it was a good thing I didn't get rid of my ~7 year old Cinema Display. Unfortunately my purchased HD video content no longer plays on it, appears as a black window with an HDCP message - looks like I'm in the market for a new 22" - 24" IPS LCD.
The ebay destined iMac it replaced-

Can always use software to by-pass HDCP. I know it is doable on PC, it would not surprise me if it can be done on OSX as well.-Trunks0

I may try a Lacie 324 as they seem to review well and I can get a considerable discount on them through my employer, though I am doubtful about any panel that isn't IPS.
I am not saying you shouldn't care but if you aren't sure how you feel then checking out a TN panel if one of your friends has one might be a good idea.
If your are doing print work then a good monitor is definitely worth it.THG is to computer hardware what MTV is to music.

Viewing angle isn't much of a problem cause I don't look at my PC monitor from anything other then head on.PSN Name: savagemadman

Are the additional displays used primarily for other than games where an angle is preferred? 'Cause the perspective is all screwy. The aspect ratio on the right one seems quite distorted too. Are those supposed to be box car wheels?
Have you tried the alternate mode for bezel compensation?Look on the bright side, one day our sun willsupernovared giant and this won't even be a memory.

Obviously, the distortion is the game's lack of support for a superwide FoV. Tools like widescreenfixer can help a lot of cases.

Got tired of the old quad in my nvidia box and decided to upgrade to a 930. Course, had to bring along some buddies. Before I open the i7 proc I was curious if I should have gone with something a little higher? I'm running a 950 with my ati gpu's, but guess its splitting-hairs so-to-speak (930 or 950). The clerk at microcenter was trying real hard to get me to buy one of the extreme intel's. Thousand dollars is still a little extreme for a proc imo. Anyhoo...
