Hey thanks guys!
As for tips all I know is that its better to put on a few thin coats then to try one thick coat of paint. You dont want your paint to run, so I find a few light coats works good for me. I did 3 in total for this case.
Your paint will scratch easy if it hasnt dried yet, so you have to give it time to dry. I left mine over night and I found that it wasnt totally dry in the morning, but I went ahead and started putting my stuff in it anyways.
I agree that its looks alot better with the inside painted black. The colours of everything just stand out more with the insde black.

Seeing your machine makes me seriously consider replacing my "VEGAS" style machine below with some cool aluminum and water cooling goodness.

I'd put a 120/140mm fan in those empty bays to provide more air intake."In the year 2004, ATi fans marveled in their own magnificence as ATi gave birth to catalyst A.I . We don't know who struck first, nVidia or us, but it is us who scorched the IQ forever"

Here's my baby. It's still a work in progress but I thought I'd share it now.
I still need to do some better cable management and get some longer cables for my DVD drive and card reader, but other than that it's coming along nicely. I spent probably 6 or so hours trying to get the cables better managed and I kind of crapped out at the end. I think when I go back at it most of that mess at the top will be gone.

That`s a nice looking rig Perky. It is regrettable that many personal fortunes are made by people who simply manipulate money and contribute nothing to their society.
The dream of eternal life is far more compelling than living one.

The Novatron lights I had borrowed from school also helped me to get enough light at night as to not have a blurry pic.
The wall color is called Desert Boot. The room was blue before I moved in. Walls were pre-plastered like that or whatever since the house was built.Maybe when I die

Black spray paint.........$5

Here's a pic of my work in progress entertainment room/office/sacred man cave. I've got my personal machine in here, a DTV HD receiver going to my 23in 1080p LCD via HDMI, the PC is hooked up to it through DVI. All the sound is going through my Xfi into my Logitech 5.1's. Hehe, I've got the sats tacked to the rear edges of the couch
. It's ghetto but it sounds ok.
As you can see I use a rolling keyboard/mouse stand so that I can do everything from the comfort of the couch. It really works out great, this stand has been one of the best pc related purchases I've ever made. I was using an office chair in front of the couch for pc use, just moving it out of the way when I was on the couch watching tv but I got irritated with that, thus the search for a rollaround. Now I can go from browsing Rage to watching HDTV withough even moving off my fat ass
.
I also use a wireless 360 controller for all pc games that make use of it, but since I can play with the kb/m from my couch it really doesn't make a difference.
Going forward, I want to buy a wireless keyboard as the wire on this one gets in the way, and I need to get some decorations up on the walls, right now it's just bare white walls. That, in combo with my workbench and plastic storage bins (not pictured) reminds me of somewhere the unibomber would be living, working on bombs or something. I also want to get a little fridge to cement the fact that I hardly ever have to leave this room, but my wife is nixing the fridge for some reason
.
Anyhow there you have it, the place I do my home Rage browsing from!
