The "kitchen" is just to the left of that picture. That is part of the kitchen counter there. At first it seemed a strange place to setup shop for my computer. When my wife and I first moved into this house, we decided that instead of using the "spare bedroom" or the basement as a computer gaming area, we'd setup in the living room (its a pretty big living area). Being able to see out the front of the house (big front windows) while sitting and playing some games is nice.

That and this is an old house, without furnace. The woodstove is here in the living room. We could probably put the computers in the spare bedroom and use the computers to heat the room, but we dont want to have to hibernate in a bedroom to stay warm all winter either.

I had little stands for them to have them sitting behind me. They just kinda get in the way. Here on the desk, they take up too much room. I'm likely just going to end up hanging them on the wall above left and right. If Im gaming anything important, Im using my headphones anyways.

Yeah, lets put the stock cooler back in the box. I wiped the pre-applied stuff off the AC Freezer 7 Pro and laid some lines of Artic Silver 5 down.

Assembled , with my X1950Pro, Hauppauge WinPVR 500, 80Gb Raptor (System disk), 300Gb 7200.10 (Data drive). Notice I added a 40mm fan to the northbrige, happened to have a Gigbabyte fan from an old motherboard laying around, and decided to add it on.

And yes, my PC does have a sticker on it saying "Save The Ta Ta's!" - you get free stickers with shirts you buy from SaveTheTaTas.Com, so where better to put it?

Haven't tried OC'ing yet - watch for my thread about the coming soon...

Stock performance? Excellent. I ran the [email protected] WinSMP client overnight, and I'm getting 2000 PPD. Temps are 50C for Core 0, down to 45 for Core 3, under load. The noisiest part of the system is the raptor, when it's chattering away, but it doesn't do that much.

Love the customization!

Its hard to get a good picture of the interior customization, but when I first got this case, I totally striped it down of everything, and coated the inside with that clear coat glow in the dark paint. (there are two simple black lights in the case for charging the paint) Its quite a nice effect when the room is a bit on the darker side, however with my camera, its difficult to catch the beauty of it.

The old side panel (the one without the huge fan) I replaced the plexiglass to rid the window of the ThermalTake logo. I still have yet to do that to this particular panel because of the fan. One day, I'll get around to removing the grill for the large fan and get the blue paint on it as well.

Yep, Ballistix Tracer with blue ground effect LEDs.

Yeah, I think they come with lifetime warranty but I don't like the prospect of having down time while waiting for replacement parts. The two 12cm fans you see are actually blowing away from the RAM so I don't think they can actually cool the RAM. Also, I live in Hong Kong where it's mofo hot during the summer months and I fold 24/7 on this rig. I figured that a bit of extra cooling for the RAM won't hurt.
