Yeah had a founders edition, was holding it for my brother, then he ended up not wanting it, ended up selling it for like $800 (not joking), swift kick in the balls there.

I had the Aorus 3080, which I sold with my PC complete because someone offered me $2800 for it, was kinda hard to pass up. Plus I wasn't really using it much at the time, only played league, but now playing some other things.

The lian li fans came seperate, the Lian Li case is actually sold by Bitspower, it comes with the distro block, pump, tubes pre-cut, block, radiator, fans, and all the fittings. Also comes with the PSU, and a strix Z490 board.

They also come with a FTW Ultra 3080, so people have been buying them, and dumping the rest cheap, so I picked it all up for only $600, and sold the board for $250. So I basically got the Case, psu, distro block, pump, tubes, fittings, etc for $350 NIB. Was a steal.

Finally landed a 3080

Some may call me crazy, but I managed to snag a Omen 30L and snagged the 3080 out of it, I have been eyeing them because, honestly, I think it's the cleanest looking 3080 next to the FE, but the FE just clashes with so many colors.

Crazy thing is, it cools very well. It only runs 2c hotter than the 3080 FTW3. Granted it was a few hundred points less in Royal port than my 3080.

The HP and Dell OEM 3080's have lower power limits which is why it's scoring less and has good temps. Still better than a 2080 ti or 3070 by a long shot

Its a reference board, so by all means bios can be fixed relatively easily.

But its literally like 400 pts less, and I'm still clocking 2040 average. I'm not really that worried about it IMO.

Here is the 3dmark comparing it vs the FTW3 without the 500 watt bios. I actually manage a better overall clock, but like you said. I assume the power limit is hindering it at some points.

I'm going off pure memory here, but I'm pretty sure the 3080 FE BIOS has a PL of 385 or something like that when the slider is maxed. If I remember correctly, it's just slightly higher than most of the mid-range AIB cards like the TUF and XC3. The FTW3 is 400watt max on the stock BIOS, and then you can flash the XOC for 450watt.

Oh yeah looking good. All white everything instead of the colors 3080 looks great.

Had the same case as temp. It is good but installing a 1300 watts PSU on it was a bitch due to immovable hard drive cage.

Looks great dude. I like that distro plate better than the one I bought as mine takes up a 360 rad space - yours is in a much better position and looks fantastic.

Because I don't feel the need to put this 3090 under water, its cooling solution is already pretty good. That and the added cost of water block on top of this GPU is just getting out of control, I'm done this gen.

The AIO is cooling CPU just fine, too.

Makes sense. I am hoping the Arctic AIO can cool my CPU better than the Corsair but definitely don’t feel the need to custom water cool. Pushing 5.15 Gs single core at 85 C max isnt all that bad it seems.

NZXT has had some pretty serious issues with design lately. The NZXT H1 shipped with a GPU riser that was a fire hazard. They then "fixed it" only to switch it back to a potentially hazardous riser design without notice. Gamers Nexus did some extensive coverage on the issue.

You could try Front mounting the cooler so that you get cool air coming in to the case. See if that drops it.

I honestly can't see it running that hot. Its ****ing crazy.
