Don’t know about the XL though so might be there are some sound issues there. Don’t think any rad requires specific spacers but rather rubberized fan edges which is something I have been using for ages it seems with all new fans to avoid rattling noises.

Noctua is actually great at manufacturing fans that don’t rattle.

Why are your rad fans noisy in the first place?

Because the exit holes on my case makes noise as air moves through them.

It's just the Lian Li Lancool kit it's only PCIE3.0, I may order a 4.0 one, not sure. I'd have to rig it into the lian li bracket.

Very good, the zero fan RPM mode is nice.

I haven't done any serious testing, but idle is 28c, some league matches was 52c, but the fans dont even turn on because I have it set to zero RPM. They dont turn on until 60c in zero rpm mode.

EDIT*** Fans on balance 5 min OCCT test, didn't break 60. Hovers 50c, spikes to 59-60 occasionaly

I am contemplating if going from H150i Pro to one of the gay RGB coolers is worth it.

Only ran it for about 10 min, I know timer says 7, ran it for about 5 minutes, then redid it. So was more than 10, but lets just say 10.

I stopped because thermals were already peaked, and dropping. Fans aren't even having to run above 50% and it's not exceeding 62c.

FWIW this is not the H150i pro, this is the H150i elite capellix.

Haha. Only reason I have these fans is because there were no fans available that were single LED and PWM. Everything else was ARGB which my motherboard doesn’t support. So now I have static RGB fans.

EVGA must be smoking dope when they bundled these cables with the 1300 watts PSU. The positive side is that they actually go well with the EVGA FTW3 Ultra lipstick edition.

The mouse is G502. It just came so there is no issue yet. It is replacing G402 but it will take some getting used to G502 again.

Also do you guys think that the metal brace has reduced sag. If you see first image vs next it seems to be helping even though first is at an angle you can see sag compared to bottom and top fans. In the new one it is not 100% flat but quite close. Or is that all placebo?

I've never used rubber bands for heatsinks before

I had option for metallic strips but those were silver in color so I chose the bands instead. Ideally I should be able to remove the bands now that the thermal pads might be intact but I kept them there just in case.
