New CPU cooler installed (Fractal Design S24). Left the front case fans in so it's push-pull. Mounting it up front necessitated removing the HDD cage. The two spinner drives got moved up top and the Blu-ray burner came out. I'll get an external enclosure for it later.

Also replaced the crappy Silverstone low profile fan I had on the bottom. Bearing was crapping out and causing quite a bit of vibration.

Motherboard fans are horrible for sound. Such a small fan must make some noise.
As for me and 9900K. I have asked this question multiple times and gotten the answer to not do this upgrade.
2080 Ti I may do something if there is a game that challenges me at 1440P. Thus far there is no such thing.

It's quite modern, I think the pics give it no justice. It's so far the most complex case I've ever work with, however, it has endless combinations and options, love it so far.

All components support AURA integrated with my mainboard, so it's a rainbow if I choose to, right now it's displaying solid colors in a loop.

The fans helped a lot with cooling, I have the processor (all cores) at 5Ghz and the video card at 2060Mhz, the temperatures are around 70C at full load. Compared to my old Core i7-5930K, it's a 40%+ improvement in processor performance in syntethic benchmarks. In games, it shines as always

Now, I have to save for the keyboard, I've seen an ASUS ROG one compatible with AURA as well

Witcher 3, GTA V, Far Cry 5, Skyrim, Civ VI, PCars 2...

I'd wait for the revision that is coming out in September, the current version is a bit picky when it comes which radiators that can fit in the side.

The particular mount I bought was hitting to IO shield built into the motherboard. I found another that looks like it should clear it without issue. I'm going to hopefully be installing that tonight.

Noctua can send and extra wire bracket if you want to add an extra 140mm fan. I think you can shave an extra 1 or 2c.

Dunno if it would help that much, its hard to say... i had it so it was sucking the air/heat into the rear exhaust... i didnt see any changes whats so ever. Tho im guessing thats bc the fan might be too small and underpowered. But i dunno.... im replacing the case fans with higher airflow ones, i may attach one and see for sh*ts and giggles

Yea its the design of the card. The end tapers in and uses a little piece of plastic to try to hide it.
