You could still wind up with light bleeding out even when they're taped up. I swear Creative managed to find the brightest red LEDs known to man and still used two of them together, so just take some snips, cut them off, and throw them in the trash. It's the only way to be sure. It doesn't affect the card in the least (except for eliminating the blinding red light), and it's not like the card would have any real resale value nowadays anyway.

Nope, don't like that one at all. I wanted the old school solid steel tristellar.. it was one of the last ones available for a great price. It was between that and one of those snazzy Cougar cases.

@nycdarkness, that system looks great. These days people like to put butt ugly, neon concert lighting with strobe lights in the background lol. I never really got into that and always considered the side panel window on PC's like putting a window on the hood of your car so you can see the engine. Pretty silly.

That system looks flashy but not ridiculous and I would totally rock something like that with a window if I had the time, patience and money to build something like that. You are getting better and better and make some of the nicest rigs I've seen on the net.

Added bigger speakers to the front with a set of Atmos speakers on top. Moved the speakers that were in the front to the rear. Also added some ambient light.

Not adaptive to what you are viewing. It's a USB powered light strip that connects through wi-fi so that you can control it from your phone. 16.7 million colors. Better than the 12 or 16 color strips that come with a remote. It has "scene" selections so that individual parts of it can have different colors. I prefer all blue since it matches the rest of my theme. Contrary to what some may think, this ambient light actually helps reduce eye strain when viewing for long periods.
