Its actually a nice case. I have a Coolermaster one that hangs upside down. So if the water cooling setup on it decides to spring a leak.. nothing will land on any of the components. lol.

This was my first time setting up a custom water cooling loop. It took me 3 days to rip down my old system and rebuild it with the new cooling. I made a bunch of mistakes and learned some new things but in the end it all worked out. I decided not to use a water block on my RAM because the EK block that I ordered is made for an older version of the corsair dominator RAM and the heat spreaders that make it work could not be installed unless I used a heat gun and a bunch of force on the chips. I wasn't willing to risk it. It seems like Corsair bakes them on and they are not meant to be removed.

                    At idle:
                    CPU 29C
                    GPU#1 24C
                    GPU#2 20C
                    GPU#3 23C

Playing GTA 5 for 1 hour at 4K 60FPS all effects maxed:
                    CPU 40C-45C
                    GPU#1 35C-38C
                    GPU#2 32C-35C
                    GPU#3 28C (not being Used)

My pump is set to run at 25% on idle and up to 60% under gaming conditions.

                    My fans run at 500RPM

I have a 420 Radiator on top using a push configuration and a 280 on the front using a push/pull configuration.

System liquid totals 1.5 liters. Using a single loop with a single reservoir. My pump is a single unit with a single output but it has two pumps which gives it nearly twice the power of a normal pump and provides security if one of the pumps fail.

When I installed the water coolers at first one of my cards would not show up. I had to tear the system down and redo one of the cards. Lucky for me it started working the second time. I think I may have went overboard with the thermal paste or maybe I screwed the water block down to tight the first time. I also forgot to install the rubber seals when I installed the triple water bridge and it leaked on my cards and power supply. Lucky I had paper towels laid out and It didn't squirt out but rather released a few drops.

The serial triple bridge does make the top card more hot and I am not sure why EK recommends the serial port or why it even exists but those of you that told me to use a parallel port were correct. It's not a big enough deal for me to care though. Also, I machined my Nvidia HB bridge to work with the triple water block and it worked out perfect. Here is a pic of my machine. I have tidied up the GPU power cables since I took this picture but other than that, this is how my new rig looks. Also, the 1080TI's stay at 1886Mhz with no modification at all. I don't see any fluctuation when gaming. I am willing to bet I can push them pretty good now. This is in a mid tower case so it took some thought as to what I could and couldn't do. Seems like the design of the Thermaltake tower really allowed me to maximize my cooling potential.

Nice! What Clock speed did you get the CPU to run? I see you fill up all the ram slots. What did you use? Is it still true that Ryzen can only take 4slot of dual rank at 1866mhz?

Is this chart still true? or did the lastest BIOS improve the RAM speed support?

nyc's 90° tubing really looks great. Tinted coolant is what I thought was needed when I saw sextein's, but you are missing out on those bubbles! Blue isn't really my color, still that psu cable sleeving is wow!

So which one gets higher fps per degrees over ambient?

                            Comment

I gotta check one of the blocks today as it's running warmer than it should. I am not sure if it's the board or something else but I have one card that's defying science. At am ambient of 24c it was idling at 25c and on load 36c. I wouldn't have an issue with these temps if my ambient was lower. Looking at my other loop with a txp and x99 I see that it's idling around 30c and going to mid 40s underload, which is what I expect.

For the ram, I am using Gkill 3200 cas 16 4x8. I can't run faster than 2666 unless i change the ref clock or use 2 sticks. So they are just running at 2666 14-14-14-34 for now. I tried a flarex 16gb kit that I was able to get to 3200 with some twinkering, but I want more than 16gb. Per overclocking, I've found that using P states gave me an easier time to hit 4ghz than just flat out oc. My load voltage at 4ghz is about 1.43v with a dmm.
I've gone higher than 4ghz but I need something stupid like almost 1.5v to get there.

The bubbles are from using distilled water, it's just air in the loop that will go away eventually.

Thanks for the compliment. I am a minimalist type of guy when it comes to styling. I prefer not to have windows, LEDs, or colored coolant. It's just a personal preference I guess. I am not big into benchmarks but I did run firestrike and timespy last night to check it out under heavy stress. My firestrike score was 27,262. I believe the graphics score was 50,800 or so. I pushed my CPU up to 4.8Ghz just to see if it would pass the test and it did. I don't plan to keep it there though. I don't have any games that need more than stock speed actually but I figure I should push it to 4.5Ghz since I have a competent cooling setup.

The stock fans on the cages are actually pretty quiet, and they are quite popular as half of the backplane is open to air, rather than the tiny holes in other cages. They are also not super dense like 5 in 3 units, which are really hard to keep cool.

Since the cages are unfiltered though, I have removed the fans on the cages. I rely on an inverse-positive airflow method, sucking air in from the top and bottom of the case, and pushing all the air out the front, through the cages. Even with all the bays full, plenty of air blows through and keeps the drives well within acceptable temps.

You may notice that there are blue strips on the expansion plates and circles over the holes. I cut vinyl stickers and foam with my vinyl cutter to plug up as many holes as I can to keep the pressure high. It's actually quieter than my main rig, other than the drives clicking away.

That's good thinking about the dust (bad) over running way below max operating temps (arguable). Would be a real shame if your 120tb of porn fails before your own death and will never be found by your friends and family.

That's actually a genius idea, even for a regular gaming rig - helps sound insulation as well as helping air pressure ..

Patent it and make a product. Smart stuff.

Put a 100i cooler in my gf computer because she complains about fan noise. Added my old 8GB of gskill ram in it as well because the stuff she had in there was generic 1600. Mine is 1866 and I enabled that in the motherboard as well. Processor isn't overclocked, I could, but I don't want to right at the moment. Got Tired so the shitty psu wires aren't fully re done yet. lol

Looks great, but isn't the rear exhaust and CPU fan fighting each other? Like, wouldn't it be better to have the CPU fan facing the opposite direction?

I try to line things up in a way that I don't have to dogtail bends. Usually I will use fittings to avoid dogtailing or go a longer route that's even rather than a direct way that doesn't look the part. As per bending, I free hand. I find the tools just leave marks on the tubing when you use it to bend. On my first hardline attempt I used bending tools and it didn't work as well as just free handing. I use those pipe cleaners for crafting to get a general idea of the shape I am going to bend to. For measuring I mark a little past where I am going to bend this gives me a mental note of the area I am aiming to make the angle.

In front of Mo-Ra 3, it's an air purifier. And directly above it, there's an air conditioner. When it's turned on, it directly blows cold air into the Mo-Ra 3, making this external radiator water cooling extremely efficient. Within 5~10 mins of air conditioning, coolant temp reaches 8~12C even under full system load.

Below is a picture of shut-off valve. Allows quick and easy connect/disconnect with Mo-Ra 3.

The CouchMaster came out a couple years before the LapDog. The LapDog is made to be placed on the lap. The CouchMaster was a board that straddle two cushions. I don't use the leg padding on the Lapdog. I straddle it across the arms of my chair. It allows me to put my arms on the chair while using the keyboard and mouse. It's very comfortable.
