It's that time to hate me again.
Bought the last parts of my yearly upgrade (unless Nvidia releases a new Titan this year).
I also bought a 4 slot HB SLI bridge for the two 1080s last week and a new 16X LG BD-RW burner this week.
Specs:
Intel Core i7 6950X
Asus Rampage V Extreme
32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 DDR4
Two Nvidia GTX 1080s in SLI
256GB Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD
Three 2TB Samsung 850 EVO SSDs in 6TB RAID-0
10TB Seagate Enterprise 7200RPM HDD
LG 16X BD-RW
Corsair Obsidian 750D case
Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate cooler

Although the 512GB 950 Pro is a little faster, I would only use it for an OS / Misc. application drive. Not much space is used up on it.
I was actually running out of space on the five 1TB Samsung 840 EVO drives I was running before. That's mostly the reason for going with three 2TB 850 EVO drives. I can also get a 4th one later for 8TB total.AMD Ryzen 9 7950X - Asus X670E Crosshair Extreme - 32GB Corsair Dominator DDR5 6200 - MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio - 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4.0 NVMe SSD - Three 8TB Sabrent Rocket Q NVMe SSDs in 24TB RAID-0 - Corsair 7000X case - Corsair H170i Elite cooler - Corsair AX1600i power supply - Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro keyboard - Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse - 77" LG G1 OLED display - Denon AVR-X3500H receiver - Klipsch 5.2.2 Reference Premier speakers with Martin Logan 800X subs

So when does the Rage3D Giveaway start on those ancient 1TB Sammies?!?Originally posted by JohnEJohnIt's at least worth a try man, I initially thought wtf to trying it a few years ago and once it entered my mouth it was honestly one of the best things I had ever tasted.

Going to sell them. I usually sell my replaced parts at a good price.AMD Ryzen 9 7950X - Asus X670E Crosshair Extreme - 32GB Corsair Dominator DDR5 6200 - MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio - 1TB Sabrent Rocket 4.0 NVMe SSD - Three 8TB Sabrent Rocket Q NVMe SSDs in 24TB RAID-0 - Corsair 7000X case - Corsair H170i Elite cooler - Corsair AX1600i power supply - Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro keyboard - Logitech G Pro Wireless mouse - 77" LG G1 OLED display - Denon AVR-X3500H receiver - Klipsch 5.2.2 Reference Premier speakers with Martin Logan 800X subs

just out of pure curiosity, what's the main use of your rig, Adam? If you ran outta space with that (previous) specs i'd guess you do a lot video-editing or something like that?

I'm kind of surprised your heatsink is even working with that much dust in there.

Yup nice rig, I envy people here having nice looking rig while mine looks like crap with tons of dust and bad cable managementOriginally posted by jimjobobIf 3 fans left the station at 10:30am cooling at a temp of 63c and one fan was derailed by a stray sata cable on the track, how long would it take all 3 fans to get on Seyiji's last nerve?

First build since 2012!
Specs:
Intel Core i7 6700k @ Stock
Asus ROG Maximus VIII Gene mATX Mobo
16GB EVGA DDR4 @ 2400
Geforce GTX 1070 FE
Corsair Carbide Air 240
EVGA 650 Watt G2 PSU
Acer Predator 27" 1440 144hz IPS w/ GSYNC
This monitor is absolutely UNREAL. I had no idea what I was missing with GSYNC until I experienced it. Everything is smooth as butter.
Need to tone down the out of box brightness on this still.
Samsung 950pro (OS) and EVO 256x2 (Steam Drive) Raid 0 benches
I was worried about how the XBOX would handle a 1440p monitor but it looks phenomenal.

Thankfully I'm not too bothered by tearing on my overclocked catleap. That said I don't know the joys of gsync so I don't know any better. I'm sure that it would easily be the single best upgrade for my pc by a mile.Originally posted by ManglerGood work guys, we can't have too many positive posts in a row on this forum.
