Fractal Design R5 showed up already, pretty sweet case.

I have a three year old and a three month old. Cleaning my computer is at the bottom on my list of priorities lol. Part of the problem is that it sits on the floor in the basement next to where the cat hangs out. My new system will be up on the desk. Should help out quite a bit.

It's that time to hate me again.

Bought the last parts of my yearly upgrade (unless Nvidia releases a new Titan this year).



I also bought a 4 slot HB SLI bridge for the two 1080s last week and a new 16X LG BD-RW burner this week.

Although the 512GB 950 Pro is a little faster, I would only use it for an OS / Misc. application drive. Not much space is used up on it.

I was actually running out of space on the five 1TB Samsung 840 EVO drives I was running before. That's mostly the reason for going with three 2TB 850 EVO drives. I can also get a 4th one later for 8TB total.

Do you have filters on the intake fans to your case?

I'm kind of surprised your heatsink is even working with that much dust in there.

Took several experiments to silence the FuryX tho, don't care what they say about the revised embossed cooler. Thing still sounded like a dentists drill in a beehive! Packing foam and several thin layers of rubber and wood sorted that out.

Rigs pretty much silent now.

This monitor is absolutely UNREAL. I had no idea what I was missing with GSYNC until I experienced it. Everything is smooth as butter.









Need to tone down the out of box brightness on this still.

I'm sure, thats the only leap that I would make at this point. Would make too many games so much more enjoyable. The dips in FO4 really broke immersion for me. Laugh as much as you want about FO4 immersion.

Thankfully I'm not too bothered by tearing on my overclocked catleap. That said I don't know the joys of gsync so I don't know any better. I'm sure that it would easily be the single best upgrade for my pc by a mile.

I really wish I had waited for the 21:9 Gsync monitors to come out before jumping on this Dell. Granted they cost around 40% more than I paid for this.

I considered the $899 35" predator but since I still play a lot on my Xbox one and I only use 1 monitor I didn't want to deal with the sidebars or stretched image.

I can definitely see the appeal of them however.

Finally finished my new build. Still need to do a little cable management and button it up. Such a huge improvement over my i7 920 and GTX 670 .
Witcher 3 completely maxed out is running at a steady 80 fps. Now I need to pick up a 1440p Gsync monitor.
