I had a very similar desk years ago and I hated it. Felt so cramped always. Get a bigger nice desk, you will thank yourself for it.

I was thinking of having everything attached to a pole. Three poles. One for the monitor, one for the keyboard, and one for the mouse. Bolted onto the underside of each device and then bolted to the floor. Each pole will be height adjustable.

Hotter than he wants to admit Been there done that, plenty of high temps and noise and total crapped out boost on at least 1 card as a result. Then again have to disable quad sometimes to even smooth gameplay so might not even matter that much Needs desk fan or water to get the most out of it.

My 3 txs with the ref cooler was getting so damn hot and annoying when gaming it was ridiculous, by the time I blocked them I sold them 10 days later. I am going to be doing quad 980tis for giggles, waiting on blocks to come out though. I read that the 780ti classy blocks fit the 980ti classy so I might just get 4 of those. Since I already have 2 of those blocks. Got about 10 days left to return these msi ones to amazon. Still thinking..... Might go kingpin as well. Oh the decisions.

Mousepad is for pussies. I haven't used a mousepad since I had a Pentium 3 or some shite. For proper traction you need a slight rough wooden desk which is what I have used since forever.

Finally, I could care less about looking at the window. My case is always at the bottom of the desk. The 650d used to be in a wooden frame. This is too big to fit in it so I threw the wooden frame out.

AC is on in the room 24/7. See my temperatures in other threads.

I haven't used a mousepad in like 8 years. I just set it on my smooth, glossy finished wooden desk. I've been through a number of mice and all worked perfectly.
