I didn't think that Noctua fans were ideal for a radiator.

Always gotta be someone to judge/critique ****.

I used the noctua fan's due to them being a 4 pin fan header and I can control them by my motherboard bios.

            Also:

At this point I would call all the fans relatively the same. The Cougars, Noiseblocker, Noctua, GTs, Piranha, are all performing in that 36-39dBA and subjectively hard to tell much difference. This and slower speeds is where it just doesn’t make sense to spend a ton of money on fans. Cheaper value fans perform just as well as the expensive ones and the Gentle Typhoons also don’t really separate themselves much. I actually prefer the sleeved and HDB bearing type fans a little better in noise quality at these slower speeds. I would probably call it a tie between the Noiseblocker B12-3, Noctua NF-F12, and Cougar HDB as they seem to have a slightly smoother sound quality at these slower speeds.

I just think that noctua fans are overpriced and rag on them any chance that I get.

                  Personally, I like Cougar fans.

But I got into them early on before they got popular and expensive. I think I paid like $7 per for my 120's. I got like 10 of those bad boys. They are like $15 a pop now.

Still not a bad price for a good fan though. I have been using them for a few years now and haven't had one go out on me yet.

Compare that to the 2 corsair fans that have bit the dust in the last year alone..

New cheap case nzxt s340 ($70). Replaced the define r4 , which the front paint was flaking and fading.

New case runs hotter by few degree. It's also louder than the r4(nearly quiet with fan controller). R4 differently built better, but almost twice as heavy.

Is it just me or does that windforce card look a bit heavy? Is it just the angle that make the card look like it's slumping towards the front fan?

Gigabyte 970 G1 is a super long card. But ya it's just the angle of the picture.

It's sagging. I got 2x 290x vapor x in that s340 case, and both cards sag.

Tbh i really think it has to do with case construction as well. Putting the same components in my spare 800D there was no sag at all.

The removal of the 5.25" drive bays really helps to make some space.

I agree, the fact that you can still fit 3 3.5" drives and two SSD(Or just 5 SSD) in the fractal design S is also pretty neat if you ask me.

Have been eyeing off the same case, but in white, for an AMD build I've been meaning to get around to (replacement for my secondary i3 rig). Wanted to go micro or mini ATX, but AM3+ mobo options are very poor in those sizes, and I find that case the most appealing for this build. Price is right and has a nice clean look to it
I think a white build with clear blue water cooling tubes, blue braided cables, and blue accents will look pretty good. Will house an 8370 and full Tonga GPU (380x I suppose). At least that's the plan.

Added the 980 Ti, Added Sleeved 8 pin cpu power card, and changed sleeved GPU power cords(better looking thick pair) I could use some of those sleeved cable straighteners but it doesnt bother me enough to buy those.

this one works but of course it came with a bad DP cable so only the one I bought works

that's fine it is about right 2 to 3 feet

it is bright and white is very white a lot more than my old 30" had to turn brightness down from 80 to 10 and lower it some in nv cp
and still had to set the windows DP from 125% from my 30" to 150% for this

Hope there are similar displays with freesync/gsync options soon, and possibly higher refresh rates.

As for size, I used a 40" S-PVA display on my desk for a while and found it's not too big at all. Actually, it's a very comfortable size for me but I had it a little further back than in Bills pic - mine was just beyond arms reach. Was awesome for gaming, very immersive and IQ was beyond any IPS monitor I've used.

Had a couple spare rads collecting dust, because I didn't get around to trying to sell them, so tossed them in.

MCR220 on the side, MCR320 and a GTX360 up top. Massive overkill for a CPU only loop but I can add in the GPU with no worries. Air-water delta is pretty much 0 at idle and a tad over 1C under p95. Lots of room to dissipate more heat.
