Going to buy 4 of those are we?.....

They use even more power than the GTX980's and since you use 4 cards, refer to previous posts....Just saying..

Lets see if I can get the Titan X cards before you get the four 290s working.

Heh, it's just a BIOS flash away....5 Minute procedure and it's done.

You'll only have opened the side panel and begin to unplug the cards by the time i'm done...

This, and I also use the dt990 which is a fully open headphone so in quiet games I can still hear fan noise which can be annoying.

I usually use my speakers though.

I also keep my pc in the family room so that I can use it while not having to feel like I'm neglecting everyone lol.

To me it's simple. If water is required, I'll do it, but I won't go out of my way if I don't have to. This 4770k for example, it requires water cooling for 4.8-4.9 so I didn't have a problem getting it.

Sure noise is subjective and I can understand babas, nycdarkness, and shadows point of view, but I just sit my PC on the ground to the side of my desk. If it was on my desk next to my monitor it would probably annoy the crap out of me, but where it is I find quite manageable.

I initially only did it because I was running tri-fire. With my 780s I already had the loop set up so why not? It was worth the extra money for the blocks alone. I wouldn't go setting up a full loop for 780s since the cooler on that card is very tolerable imo.

Looks cool, logical. Can we see a pic of the PSU housing and cable routing?

That looks great logical. Update your system specs!

I'm sometimes tempted to build a compact system like that and put it on my desk. My 800D is next to my desk, and you can't even see it. Makes me wonder why I even bothered trying to make the build clean if I can't see it! :P

I gave up on the clean build stuff a long time ago.

Ok, by gave up I mean that I've never really tried.

IMO, it's almost harder to make a messy build than a clean one in most modern cases.

Proper cable management is better for airflow. The first time I finally routed my cables behind my motherboard in my old Antec Nine Hundred I saw a significant difference in cooling. Plus, its easier to clean the dust out when you don't have a rat's nest of cables everywhere.

Ouch, that was a rough case to try and keep neat. I had the antec 1200 and a non-modular psu for the longest time. The back panel looked like it was ready to burst.

Yeah it sucked. I actually modified it and cut my own holes and installed some rubber grommets to make it a little better. Still was real tight and could hardly get the side panel on.

Lol, pretty much. I've yet to use a case where that other side didn't look like a rat's nest. At least I know where everything goes.

I'd really like to go Mini-ITX for my next case, just haven't decided yet if I want to let go of SLi yet.

We'll see how support for multi-GPUs are when I get around to my next build.

You can do SLI in this case and with this motherboard. You just lose the ability to plug in the front USB 3 header.

These are wired to a single 4-pin Molex connector connected to a Molex power pass-through expansion card at the back of the PC; whenever the PC's on, the vent fans are on, drawing cooler air from the front of the PC area and pushing warm exhaust air out to the foot well.
