Alright, i try to install the Asus PC probe and it get errors during installation. It installs but i get the same errors when i start the program. So i try MBM 5 and it hangs on startup. Anyone else running an Asus A7N8X DLX with temp software?

Im getting an SMBUS_writebyte error and the program cannot find the LM75 and LM78 sensors which are temp sensors. The bios reports temps though, but the temps fluctaute by 2-3C every second. Anybody know whats up at all?Comment

Thanks filburt, im really upset i have to take my system down again
This has been the worst newegg experience so far. I ordered a lot of item which totalled almost $700 and it all came in 1 box with hardly any peanuts in it, and the boxes were really banged up since the inside was loose. Then 1 of the sticks of corsair pcc3500 was DOA, now the mobo works 99%. This sucks...Comment

What doesnt work? What errors are you getting? I hear that pc probe doesnt work with the new bios (im guessing anything after 1001c). Then again i seem to be the only one with the temp problem in windows.Comment

Hmm.. Asus Probe works just fine.. what BIOS are you using ? I have the xxxxxC version. On some other thread someone said that the probe only works with xxxC BIOS.. could be that he was talking BS.
But if nothing else works, give it a shot.
