I never platinumed Ghost of Tsushima, so I started another playthrough just because...between the PS5 and the CX55 it's hands down the most beautiful game I've ever seen.

For visuals and just plain fun, it's probably the best game I've ever played.

In the mean time, check out Days Gone if you haven't. I'm loving it, and since it's a PS4 game, it looks pretty good with a super steady framerate.

I did..I played about 30-45 minutes and just couldn't get into it. Looked great and played smooth, just didn't hit the right notes. I might try it again later though.

Most reviewers said it starts slow. I'm not going to say you NEED to play it, but I think it's worth a shot. I also found it a little slow at first, but the story really pulled me in.

Sushi Ghost is awesome. I plat that game and I usually never plat games.
Days Boned is an OK game. I just did the main missions because taking out hordes was a PITA. But once you do it is satisfying.

both were good games, although nothing beats the sheer atmosphere of Ghost of Tsushima.

The first time I played Ghost was on the PS4 pro with a cheap Vizio panel. Going from that to the PS5 with an OLED feels and looks more next gen than the 2 actual next gen titles I've played so far.

It feels like a fresh, new experience, and the visuals are just stunning...I can't think of a better word to describe it.

I enjoyed Days Gone more than Ghost, but I'm weird. By the end of Ghost I just wanted it to be over, most likely due to Open World burn out and my need to collect everything. Probably would have enjoyed it more had I just stuck to the story missions. Beautiful world though.

I'm really enjoying a second playthrough of Ghost. I went full attack first time through, going full stealth this time. It's genuinely a good time, and the attention to detail in this game is just mind blowing. Lots of love went into this.

I don’t understand Sony. When the original PS4 came out there were issues with the controller where the analog stick grips wore out pretty quickly. They fixed that with the newer controllers I got with the pro. Now I have the same issue with the PS5 controller where the rubber is starting to come off and I don’t play that much, I have put maybe 100 hours into the console since I got it and alternate between 2 controllers so maybe 50 hours a controller. How are they letting this happen again

Where are you getting this souls clone stuff from? Returnal is nothing like any Souls game at all. It's roguelike 3rd person, with really solid metacritic scores so far.

I did. That new console enthusiasm had a hold of me It was overall a bit of a let down too, if I'm being completely honest.

I would rather spend $70 for Returnal than a remaster. I think From Software was really gouging people asking $70 for it. I get that the game went under some major rework, but come on man. My buddy has the disc for Demon's Souls, so I'll probably borrow it. He finished it a while back.

I just finished the Miles Morales Spiderman. Fun game. Short, but I don't think I would have been interested further than what it was. The ending was kind of lame.. another game where the end boss is a 4-5 phase fight. I'm kicking the boss' ass, but then the cutscene hits and suddenly my ass is getting kicked lol.

Either way, I've been playing and finishing more games than ever since I got the PS5. Fun gaming!

Same here, loving the PS5 so far.

Buying that DS was a stupid move on my part. It is gorgeous, so major props for that, but every single enemy related bug and annoyance is exactly like it was in the original. It wore thin pretty fast.

Ghost of Tsushima is a must play. PS4 game that is just stunning on an OLED, awesome gameplay too.

Returnal - I'm shooting off at the mouth about not spending the money, but...who am I kidding? By all accounts it is super difficult, but a true next gen title that's just amazing if not a bit repetitive.

I destroyed Day's Gone (I seriously loved that game) and trucked through the Spider-Man one. I think Ghosts is right up my alley. I'm just gonna get it, screw it.

It doesn't seem like my kind of game either. Too much twitch gameplay for old reflexes like mine. Maybe on a PC but definitely not with a controller. But what am I talking about anyway... I still can't even find a PS5. I told Sony to take my money back in December and they were like "No, you have to earn it by hanging out in Twitter 24/7 and click refresh on your browser window 900 times a day". I have the last laugh as the games aren't really that great yet. But, they will be soon so Sony get your act together and fly a PS5 my ways soon!!!

It was the comparison to Dark Souls that had me wondering what you were talking about.

I watched the first boss fight last night and decided this isn't for me either. I think Dead Cells is the only game I've played that's similar, rogue-like or whatever it's called. The bullet hell stuff is what turned me off. Not for me at all. Beautiful visuals, but that's not enough to spend 70 bucks on.

Ghost of Tsushima.. wowowowow this game is ****ing PHENOMENAL. You know what pains me the most? How much better it could look on PC with RT, DLSS, and true 4K with higher res textures. This game is seriously gorgeous on the PS5. So much potential!
