Xbox Live Summer of Arcade 2011

Summer of Arcade dates and prices

Summer of Arcade kicks off July 20th, and today we are sharing dates and prices

    Date Title Price (MS Points)
    July 20 Bastion 1200
    July 27 From Dust 1200
August 3 Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet 1200
August 10 Fruit Ninja Kinect 800
August 17 Toy Soldiers: Cold War 1200

PLUS: When you buy all five Summer of Arcade titles, you’ll receive a free copy of Crimson Alliance – valued at 1200 Microsoft Points! Coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade September 7, this fast-action RPG game from industry-leading Certain Affinity letsyou play with up to three friends and battle the sinister Cult of the Soul Siren. You’ll receive three characters, each with a host of special abilities from the Assassin’s time-bending attacks, to the Wizards elemental mastery or the Mercenary’s sweeping whirlwind strikes.

who's looking forward to it? personally i'm most interested in 'from dust' because it looks kind of cool and different from your regular game. bastion and insanely twisted shadow planet look decent too, but i don't think i'd buy them for full price. and i find it hilarious that they have the audacity to charge 10$ for fruit ninja

I might get bastion, it has the looks of a 16bit action rpg, I hope that it's also fun to play.

Fruit Ninja is a great time waster on my Windows Phone. Hope it is just as enjoyable for Kinect.

reviews for bastion have started coming out. current metascore is 87, and most reviewers seem to love it.

Bastion is an action rpg form Supergiant Games.

the game looks absolutely fantastic too, but it's coming to pc later this year so i think i'm going to wait for that.

from dust is coming to the pc too, and it will release on steam alongside xbla next week. definitely getting that on steam.
