found a few filters in one of my camera bags that i don't recall how i got them (either came with a camera or a lens) and decided to **** around with the cross screen filter
not necessarily high iso, some of them are grain added because i like the look
but the first 4 are a Canon 5D (first 3 are 50mm f1.8 STM, last one is Tamron 28-200 3.8-5.6) and the last two are a Nikon D80 with a Tokina 28-70 f2.8
prepare yer buttholes because i'm about to shove some film in here
Minolta X700 Fomapan 100
Minolta X700 Kodak T-Max 400
apparently this forum can't count and 11 images is somehow 12 so this is getting chopped into a few posts
I wouldnt think the first couple of shots are from the 5D. You got a raw of one? I just want to look at it.
Post it all. If you scan it, its technically digital
A lot of graffiti in your area it seems. High ISO in a lot of the shots. What are these taken with?

I don't know why but I sold my Nikon DF a couple months back.
Wasn't using it all but I miss it now. Pictures from it were phenomenal. A great family event camera if anything.
Then a few months back Nikon was blowing out D5 refurbs for $2000(usually 5K) and
I hesitated for about a hour then they were sold out. Then about a week later you see a bunch on FM FS forums for 3K lol.
I would have kept that beast. Especially being I cannot STAND mirrorless.
Interesting. Is it covered on all ends like an island?
yes, the sandbar gets created when the river is dredged to clear a shipping channel for barges and it's basically a temporary island... and over the course of the day friday the river rose from recent rain and took the camper with it... someone managed to pull it out yesterday but it came apart as they approached the ramp

Nice
Unfortunately, i think it was eaten. There are coyotes in that forest and some of the locals hinted the mommy and the fawn are no longer bc of them.
Mother nature can be so pretty, but oh so brutal at the same time
In thought it sounds easy but actually doing it is harder even with a tripod. A tripod isn’t viable for a sport like this as I’m close and the roads undulate and riders move and bank consistently. Fixed 2D pan would be kind of useless.
If you’re doing cars that take the same line every tine it’s perfect. That’s why you see most press people at sports venues with monopods. The use it to hold weight but nothing else really. They can pan and move as needed.
As long as I line my tripod up with motion, it has a nice pan feature that allows me to follow motion in 2 dimensions pretty easy. I hadn’t tried it out yet. Hand held seems so hard as the more blur you want the easier it is to screw up. I need to play around and try more myself.

All handheld shots. Further shots is with a huge 200-600. And most panning shots are with a smaller 18-100.
A couple more panning

Got out the the state champion crit race for cycling.. took a ton of shots... going to need to work on the panning(sense of speed photos) 9/10 photos are trash but these are some of the good ones.
