I use squarespace, like i said earlier, i've used it for a couple years... i never had time to upgrade to v6, but the turnoff for me is that they don't have an option to sell large amounts of photos, I was thinking maybe doing a squarespace and a pass.us website, but I have a ton of people buy photos months after events.. If I was less of an event shooter that would be my combo.

Yea it's a down year with the government pulling funding.. The Thunderbirds were to fly this year. They also usually have an F18 solo to start which is bad ass.

Still enjoying.. Stunt flight just ended. Amazing.

yes they did, but its not really geared towards photographers. There is no print service, you'd have to self fulfill iirc... that is why Square Space + Pass has been what i've seen recently as the best combo, it just doesn't work with the type of photos I do, I shoot a lot of running events where people will buy photos at the end of the year, or from the year prior etc, and on pass the album would of expired and they don't have a real great keywording iirc. If I did weddings or strickly portraits, hands down I would be doing Pass, its so easy and it looks great.

Took the plunge and decided to start migrating my stuff over from Yola. I really really like how intuative the site buidling is, the options are fantastic and its so easy and addictive... unlike Yola. They just felt too messy it felt too cumbersome to make little things look sexy. Changed one DNS today to see how the whole process goes, once done ill move my main site over. This should help me want to be more active on it.

Yep, I wanted something simple that I didn't have to maintain a whole lot and gives me some blogging stuff. I think it looks pretty good and shows up on mobile pretty well. I like how simple galleries are. Wordpress was a pain in the ass.

Lol. Np. I liked smugmug, but the lack of blogging platform and lack of figuring out how to make a contact me/ about me page was a non starter. Their templates are great though.

I guess what you can also do is use the blog and post stuff like that. Thats what im thinking about using it for... itwill be about complete randomness and some technical stuff (hardware, rants, updates...etc). But yeah, again, their tools are simply a bliss to use.
