A few photos from the family vacation down in Flo-rida....
When were you down there? We just got back yesterday.

We were down there the 9th - 16th staying at the Boardwalk. Where did you stay?
we were there 14th-21st..
Stayed at Coronado Springs. First time we've stayed there and really enjoyed it. Got Cabana 9B which is Club level rooms.. we had access to a private lounge with free continental breakfast and from 5-10 free appetizers and drinks (Wine and Beer!)
Also we were a 2min walk from the Bus stop and 3 minutes from the main pool and dining areas..
We stayed at the Boardwalk before we had kids, I really liked it there.. we could walk out to a quiet pool that was always empty..

We stay on the water-side of the Boardwalk, this time directly over the arcade next to the ESPN restaurant. It was cool for the view, but the noise on the boardwalk is a little loud when you are trying to sleep.
I doubt we'll go too far from the Epcot resorts as the family has gotten used to the short walked for the two parks (and my wife likes that there are several restaurant/shops right there at the Boardwalk). I think we'll probably look at the Dolphin/Swan for the next trip which will still keep us close to those shops.
Monochrome shot I did last of Saturn last night, before the moon crushed the viewing. Plus one of the Archimedes crater area of the moon I did a couple nights ago.
Both done with a modified Microsoft Lifecam at prime focus, on a Explore Scientific AR-127mm (850mm) F/6.5 achro refractor. Saturn was at about an f/20 on the scope when the shot was taken. I think it was pushing 400x mag, if I am calculating numbers correctly. Much detail was lost from mag, wind, moon, turbulence, etc.
Although not outstanding, I was impressed with what a $9.00 camera could do and hopefully get better results when I put it in my 150mm (1200mm) f/8 homemade newtonian.
