beautiful sky last night, decided to try a handheld hdr self portrait. iso 1600, f2.8, 16mm.

Looks kinda bad uncropped but whatever. merged in photoshop cs6. usually use photomatix at home but just on my laptop right now.

you must of never used the other Nik Software.... it freaking rocks... Snapseed is pretty good on phones.

I got ask into taking photos at a hiphop show... bars with very little lighting and photography pretty much suck, didn't help I forgot my grip bag to mount some remote lights, not like there was much I could mount it to, oh well, on camera flash. Shooting like F8 as focusing was horrible.





I don't listen to much hip hop, but I like this guys stuff.

Agreed and more then likely doomed now.

Most think that NIK will be gutted/retooled with most of it's resources headed for google apps.

that sucks, HDR Efex pro and Silver Efex pro Are 2 of my favorite programs, altho I've been lazy recently and just using VSCO plugins (super lazy as i'm using LR3 plugins in LR4)

I never noticed how the bottom of the doors don't line up with the black body line... that looks goofy are they all that way???

Yeah, I never noticed until you pointed it out. Personally I think the whole car looks like and is ****.

Was playing around with the D800's time lapse feature, pretty sweet. Just set the time frame along with the intervals and thats it. It will do everything else for you, so no need to export edit and then combine the images into a movie. After its done it takes all of the pictures and converts it to whatever movie settings you have your camera set to. *note* Be sure to switch to manual focus...

My dad caught a big 14 point buck on his game camera (Moultrie Game Spy D55-IR). It's at a buddy's place out in Williamsburg, OH where he'll be hunting some this year (he hunted there last year and shot a number of deer with his crossbow). The season starts this Saturday and he wants to get this bad boy. His buddy also wants it, lol.

I brightened the last image a bit, otherwise these are untouched except for a 50% resize.
