What monitors are you guys using to do your editing? My Gateway TN panels aren't really up to the task. Scott, your edits of my photos look good. I just got back from vacation and decided to post them without any post-processing.

What I'm gunning for is the Dell 2209WA IPS. The Samsung is going on eBay today. I buddy of mine got the number/email of the rep that set him up a biz account and was able to get the unit for $250 taxed and shipped express.

I wanted to get a smaller IPS panel, but after some research I found out they're actually not good for photography as one would assume. TN panels do a better job at relaying what will be printed, and what other people will see on a website. At least, that's what I gathered.Maybe when I die

I came across something interesting today which this is my first attempt... so bare with me with this.
When viewing this image try crossing your eyes, at some point the images will merge and that's when you try to lock it and focus. Once you've done it correctly you should see the middle image pop out and become 3D!!! Not perfect as its my first attempt and it may take time for some to get the cross eyed focusing right (took me a bit and a one or two headache's later) but it worked... i personally find this very neat and has TONS of potential!
Try it out and let me know!
PS - its probably easier if you make it full 1024x768

Gave the new Tamron 17-50 a run through the ringer. The lens is a SOLID performer. IQ was excellent. No problems whatsoever. Here's a few highlights from Saturday's Anime Matsuri/Import Reactor show. Strange people out there. Strange.
