i like your HDRs, Pirate.
Canon has announced the T2i, which replaces the T1i. the T2i is an "entry" level 18MP camera with 1080p HD Movie capability, ISO 6400 (expandable to 12800), DIGIC 4 processor and 14-bit image processing, amongst other enhancements. i want a new camera!
Canon has unveiled the latest in its long line of consumer digital SLRs, the Rebel T2i (EOS 550D). Highlights include 1080p HD video recording (with full manual control), an 18MP CMOS sensor, 3 inch 3:2 LCD with 1040k dot resolution and the 63-point iFCL metering system first seen on the EOS 7D. The new Rebel also offers a handful of less attention-grabbing upgrades, including redesigned buttons, 3.7 fps continous shooting, +/-5 stops exposure compensation and UI support for Eye-Fi cards. We spent a little time with a pre-production EOS 550D last week and have produced a detailed hands-on preview and (quick) gallery of Beta samples - check it out after the link...Flickr

Vancouver 2010 Olympic Flame pass in Tsawwassen, B.C., Canada.
Lot of touch up(Color correction, cropped, noise reduction, fake depth blur etc) as I was running the camera in auto mode and shooting into the sun. They didn't pause long for photos either.
p.s. Love the HDR shots neil-Trunks0

I'm not much of a photo buff, but I took this one a few minutes ago.
After wiping the frost from the outside of our upstairs bathroom window, I set up a mini-tripod and took this shot. To get a "daytime shot" at 10:15 pm, turned off the flash, gave it a 2-second delay after I removed my finger from the button (to avoid any movement), and a 10-second image exposure.
I post-edited the levels to improve the contrast levels.
My camera is a run-of-the-mill Canon PowerShot SD1000.

Taken on my vacation in Thailand. That is one serious watermark btw, makes me want to pirate the software. They could have at least added some transparency to it, or moved it a LITTLE off center.“Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only then will you find that money cannot be eaten.”
