Not sure why dudes in Stuperica don’t want to wear a mask and gloves. Been doing it for almost 3+ months now. Only way to protect yourself from ****ing idiots.

So the places that are requiring masks only require masks for those older than 10 years old. Kids (especially small kids) are well known germ factories even in the best of times and have a lot of disgusting habits because they aren't mature enough to understand that coughing in some random persons face or wiping your boogers on a shelf is bad.

What is the point of requiring masks only for adults and not kids? If their excuse is they can't keep a mask on their spawn, then they shouldn't be allowed in until they can find a way to keep a mask on their kid. Don't endanger the rest of us with your child sneezing and spitting all over everything.

Yup, I have 3 children: 10, 8, and 5 years of age. The oldest has an intellectual disability and won't keep any article of clothing or wear on his head. My other younger two are fully capable and begrudgingly wear what they are told to wear.

Yeah I've been reading reports from all over the country, mostly to do with clubs and local watering holes. Folks either think the end of the lockdown means the virus is gone, or they don't get how serious it is, or they just don't care...

Went to the gym to get a good sampling of the mask ordinance and the place was as empty as it normally is on a weekday afternoon. Of the people in the gym a good many of them were wearing masks so the ordinance appears to be having an effect. Almost had the whole pool to myself for a good 35 minutes then a couple took the remaining free lane and started yakking in the corner like it was the hot tub. Sorta annoying but since no one was waiting for a lane so be it.

So if anyone is curious about how this turned out, he beat it. I saw him night before last with a mask on, happy on whiskey, directing a tow truck driver to get his SUV. He's lost easily 20% of his body weight, but in very good spirits.

Next day he and his wife went to pick up the SUV after getting repaired. When they got back, their interactions... it's the first time I've seen her smile since they moved in four years ago.

Never confirmed if he had COVID, but judging from the fact that we could hear him coughing through our townhouse wall for almost a week straight, I'm going to assume yes.
