So the places that are requiring masks only require masks for those older than 10 years old. Kids (especially small kids) are well known germ factories even in the best of times and have a lot of disgusting habits because they aren't mature enough to understand that coughing in some random persons face or wiping your boogers on a shelf is bad.
What is the point of requiring masks only for adults and not kids? If their excuse is they can't keep a mask on their spawn, then they shouldn't be allowed in until they can find a way to keep a mask on their kid. Don't endanger the rest of us with your child sneezing and spitting all over everything."Ok to lose to opponent, must not lose to fear!"

Love that you call them “spawn.” When little kids are running around screaming and their owner is oblivious the wife and I like to tell them to “control your spawn”
If your child isn’t mature enough to listen and follow the rules then guess what - you don’t get to go to those places with your kid. Entitled idiots.Originally posted by OzzieblokeI mean, yeah, sure, there's benefits to a shaved asshole. But get a little sweaty and try and blow a fart. It just sits there like a bubble. I don't really understand the ten year old justification. Excluding those with mental disabilities, l think pretty much every five year old is developed enough to understand the concept of wearing a mask if they are told to. For that matter some four year olds may be able to.
We don't let under ten year old kids run around naked either, so obviously they are capable of either being trained, or at least being told what to do.

We WERE.
Been clipped by a car, stabbed (3x), slashed, grazed (too many times) / shot (thank God for body armor), held underwater for almost 3 minutes, knocked unconscious whilst surfing, fell off a roof, etc.
If any of that happened to me today I’d be a dead manOriginally posted by OzzieblokeI mean, yeah, sure, there's benefits to a shaved asshole. But get a little sweaty and try and blow a fart. It just sits there like a bubble. No hair to break the seal. Feels weird.

Went to the gym to get a good sampling of the mask ordinance and the place was as empty as it normally is on a weekday afternoon. Of the people in the gym a good many of them were wearing masks so the ordinance appears to be having an effect. Almost had the whole pool to myself for a good 35 minutes then a couple took the remaining free lane and started yakking in the corner like it was the hot tub. Sorta annoying but since no one was waiting for a lane so be it.

He's a great guy. I hope he pulls through...
Next day he and his wife went to pick up the SUV after getting repaired. When they got back, their interactions... it's the first time I've seen her smile since they moved in four years ago.
Never confirmed if he had COVID, but judging from the fact that we could hear him coughing through our townhouse wall for almost a week straight, I'm going to assume yes.

I was tested today (requirement for surgery now) and man, I don't want to do that again. Never had a q-tip tickling my sinus cavity before.
