According to the crazies a few reasons standout:
Early in the pandemic Fauci said masks are not necessary only to revert course and say they are. His reasoning, saving the limited supply of masks for healthcare staff, was bogus at best.
He was seen sitting maskless at a baseball game with family members.
And the worst reason of them all, why he's absolutely unredeemable trash, he didn't backup their cult-leader insane ramblings and botched COVID response.

Moderna #3 for me today and province stands at 85% eligible (age 12 and above) fully vaccinated and 92% with their first dose. We are seeing the light at the end of this tunnel.

My youngest turned 12 right before they offered it to teens 12+. If mine were younger, they would be in line for one too.

got to go in Friday for my covid follow up will get my flu shot then

got to ask about my at rest heart rate it is 40 to 45 since i dropped down to 165 lbs i may need less metoprolol now or it maybe cycling or both

Just look away big man, and hope for the best. Today was not my day. It wasn't bad at all, but I swear she hit my bone with that damn needle.

My arm doesn't hurt at all if that helps.

Edit, I had to check my two kids under arms for puncture wounds to make sure she didn't just squirt it into their arm pits. She pushed the needle all the way in on my 12 year old. She sucked. Not going back there again...

When I got my second shot, they asked me if I needed anybody for "emotional support" (I guess for the needle?). I gave the chick a puzzled look and said...no. She gave me the shot and told me my non-reaction was the best she had seen all day. I asked if she was serious and she said "you'd be surprised how many people balk, panic, or whine about getting a shot". I mean, I didn't exactly enjoy it but it needed to be done.

I remember early in the pandemic getting a nasal swab shoved through my nose to the back of my skull; my face tightened up so much from the pain the nurse had to tell me to relax so she can push it further in!

Had the same problem with Moderna. Happened with both doses, actually. The 2nd dose put me out of commission for about a week.

My wife and I both suffer from "long COVID" symptoms, so that probably didn't help.

Yeah, the moderna shots pack 100mg of mrna vs 30 for pfizer. Good news is, you probably now have the best protection out there.

Looked into getting my booster yesterday and CVS was the only local one that did online appointments but didn't have info... tried again today and they have openings, during the day as early as Friday. Though the CVS I'm going through is open 24h, so they have some real early am time slots that are open sooner than then.

Damn it, here in Manitoba, we just opened up boosters to 70+. I don't think I get one until end of December or early January. I suppose that I had my second in mid-June, so that's pretty OK.
