Everything, Everywhere, All At Once.
I don't know how to process this one, let alone rate it. Has all the elements I love, but it's incoherent and I can't quite figure out how we ended up at the ending.

Though the movie had almost nothing to do with the book, I still liked it. I made the mistake of taking a couple step-sons (ages 10 and 11) to see it in the theater, not realizing it was rated R and one of the most violent movies made up to that time. (There's a lil bit of T & A, but that was nothing compared to the violence). When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

Wakanda Forever. 5.5/10. One of the weakest Marvel films yet. There's some good ideas in the film, but nothing is really earned or fleshed out. Somehow it completely avoids ever being fun, even in parts where you've got a girl flying around in an iron man suit.
There were a couple of stand-out performances. I thought the main actress was very good, despite her lack-luster performance in the first film. I particularly liked what they did with M'baku's character, and his actor was great in the role.
Namor was ok I guess, but the blue water people didn't really work for me. They're ugly and don't really have any character or personality. I think there was a seed of a good idea there, but completely failed to take it anywhere interesting.
The ironman girl was a total waste too. Not really sure why she was in the film at all.Originally posted by KACTo be honest I never even found doom 3 to be scary since I have a big dick since birth.

So in the end, everyone in Drax's team dies, apocalypse is happening, and 1 guy kills himself, apocalypse avoided. So... there was 0 repercussions for their [non] actions. They just undid the apocalypse in 2 seconds... o wow. Would have been better if they got the apocalypse, and had to live with the guilt of it all...

Die Hard 1-3. 9/10, great films. First time my wife's seen these. Die Hard 1 is a perfect masterpiece of action filmmaking, and the other two are very good as well.
Die Hard 3's ending is a bit weaker... feels like they re-worked the ending at the last minute, and so things are a bit quick and dis-jointed. Also realized this morning, that they never actually show the police recover the gold or defeat all the henchmen. We just kindof go from them escaping, with Jeremy Irons in the helicopter, to Bruce Willis destroying the helicopter. Done. Yeah, there's a bunch of loose-ends there. Film is still great overall though.Originally posted by KACTo be honest I never even found doom 3 to be scary since I have a big dick since birth.

you guys see Mortal Engines? I know it got crap reviews but I kindda enjoyed it. I thought the pacing was good and the boring talking parts were kept to a minimum. some concepts were cool (and VERY borrowed from other movies)Originally posted by KACGays if I had boyfriends your mums wouldn’t have produced your sorry asses.

Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore 6/10. It wasn't bad but glad I streamed it and didn't have to devote 2.5 hours straight on it as it was pretty meh. Going to wrap up my HBOMax sub with a movie or two instead of trying to binge off Dark Materials. I got my 3 shows to make the sub worth while already.
