another movie which had so much potential to be something different but failed due to several things. It could and should've been so much darker but naaah, they just had to get that pg rating. That aside some characters change their mind without any cause, there's literally no depth to any char, some chars are completely useless.
If you're up for some mindless action, then this movie will fit perfectly. For me it was another huge letdown.
as usual, just my 2 cents.

Too bad. Hopefully Black Panther will be better.

well, it's just how i feel about it, maybe you'll love it, i dunno.
I love superhero movies, but this one just sucked. Stupid ass characters, horrendous acting, predictable as hell plot. Only The Rock "saved" this one, and fights / special effects.
Not sure why I'm putting this in spoiler, it's plastered everywhere on the net already, Superman's 12 seconds of showtime was semi-cool, but when you read that Black Adam is supposed to be equal to Shazam, there is some serious overpowering of The Rock's version of Black Shazam. As of now he'd wouldn't bat an eye at the 6 (or 5, don't care they all suck) coming at him at the same time.

God, give us grace to accept with serenity the things that cannot be changed, courage to change the things which should be changed, and the wisdom to distinguish the one from the other.
sounds like i'll wait for HBO Max on that one... which i was kinda planning on doing anyway
I went to see Halloween Ends... better than Kills, falls short of 2018, obviously OG is not going to be surpassed
Halloween Ends.. ughh. I was looking semi forward to a slasher movie type.
What a waste of time and effort. I don't want to spoil it..
Michael doesn't even feature in this movie, like 10min total screen time. This other idiot is the "bad" guy. Gets bullied by the band members. And just plain bleh most it
nobody fainted or vomited in the theater.... a few people left... i had some money left on a gift card for the theater i don't usually go to which is also the only one showing it
it has all the production quality and writing of straight to video that the first one had, worse pacing, but my god if the guy playing Art the Clown isn't ****ing 100% killing it
unless you really want to see a gory splatter film in the theater, wait for streaming
A doc about infinities. It covers the math of infinities and whether infinities exist in the natural world at both the sub-atomic, cosmological, and temporal levels.
Although this covers some slightly tricky math, the film-makers do a fantastic job of assisting the explanations with graphic overlays and such. They also break this up with bite-size chapters.
I love this type of sh1t when done well, and this one is.
I feel like this movie is targeted to middle schoolers but somehow got at least two well known names in it and some decent FX for what it is. The most annoying thing about it is the half-hearted representation. At least the wolf guards show up for more than one scene even though they only had one scene where they are really featured.

This one was pretty good. It's from Peter Farrelly (of Dumb and Dumber, and There's Something About Mary fame). It's about a guy that decides to bring beers to his friends during the Vietnam war. It leans more towards comedy, but it does have a bit of a shift in tone as the movie goes along.
It sort of reminds of a Korean movie that I saw not too long ago that was very good: A Taxi Driver. It starts off as a bit goofy and light and then turns pretty tense and dark halfway through.
10/10 > one of the best sequels delivered this past decade imo.
My only problem with it was that there weren't very many ghosts. So there's that caterpillar slimer that eats the metal who appears a couple times, and there's some stuff at the end. But the original ghostbusters had tons of ghosts throughout the film. This film needs more ghosts!

The mini stay puft guys made up for that I thought
Watched the following movies during my Rage3D vacation:
Deadstream. One of the better found footage movies. Mix of horror and comedy.
Halloween Ends. Some "unique" choices made for this movie but thought it was still good.
V/H/S/99. Pretty good. As always, some segments were better than others. Overall, I liked it more than the previous movie (V/H/S/94).
Terrifier 2. Nice improvement over the first one and I quite liked the first one.
Barbarian. Even thought it is highly praised, I didn't really like it. Peopled stated and commented how it has "unpredictable twists that will make your jaw drop" or the like but I found no such twists. It seems a "twist" to some people is a natural progression of a story that shows more/new information. However, it looked good and had good acting. I did like setup/build up far more than what happens after you find out some details.
The Bay (2012). Not my first time watching but its been a while since I last watched it. Great movie. Really like "fake" documentary horror movies. Lake Mungo is another excellent horror movie with a "fake" documentary style.

I’ll check this out. Love math movies. Also is it just me or do the forums look different lately? Thought we was gonna keep the old style… for infinite!

"Weird: The Al Yankovik story" on the Roku channel. Hilarious. And totally true. Really.
Parts being played by famous comedians and actors in even the small roles are a fun touch and they're everywhere. "Wolfman Jack" Black. Conan o'Brian as Andy Warhol, etc.

This was sorta payback to wifey for being a good sport and trying and continuing to see sci-fi. The first 20 mins of this was cringe-worthy but it ended up being halfway decent.
They should have given Julia Roberts and George Clooney flamethrowers.
