The new thor, unlike the previous movie, the humor didn't work, it was awful, one of the worst marvel movies I've ever seen.
It was just too "quirky", this directors style of humor works in small doses, but love and thunder had no restraints so it sometimes felt like I was watching a super hero parody movie.

To be frank, the only thing good about it was the scenes with Bale, but at the same time, he made the rest of the movie worse just by being so good.
So I guess I view this movie as a total failure at mixing the serious scenes with the humor, the tones just simply clashed too much, it was almost like watching a movie made by two different directors smashed together by an editor.

Halfway through Thor and completely agree with all the critics...way too much forced humor.
Christian Bale is the only good part of the movie so far.Take what you want...and then pay for it...Comment

Matrix Resurrections - 5/10 What a mess of a movie. Glad to see NPH being evil and of course the cat, but the story was flimsy and everything feels forced. At least they weren't afraid of making fun of themselves but I felt I might ended my current subscription better by watching that Dumbledore movie. Bleh.Comment

I watched Jurassic World-Dominion last night. Seems like they would rather focus on diversity/wokeness than write a good story. It wasn't bad for a popcorn movie but it wasn't good either. Basically good guys vs. evil corp/bad guy as usual.[This Space For Rent]Comment

Drifting Home (Netflix) - 6/10. Well the trailer looked interesting but I didn't think the execution was done right. It was too long and the side characters wasn't developed enough to justify the length of the movie. Animation was par for the course I guess.Comment

Sword of the Stranger (2007) 7/10 - Popcorn anime, nice fight scenes but thin plot. Only saw it as Crunchyroll recently released the dub version on their site. Animation still looked nice despite its age.Comment
