Thor. Love and Boner. 8/10. I seriously was laughing a lot. More so than I expected. Jokes were the right kind of humor for me. Great soundtrack as well.
I want to see how bad it is... but also not really.
Its ONLY redeeming quality, and I really mean ONLY, is that it feels short and has a quick pace. All the touchy-feely moments are very brief. So even though you're watching an awful movie, at least for myself, I never felt tortured and it didn't feel like it dragged on too long.
Also Dr. Time or Dr. British Alien Wizard or whatever the hell his name is is actually a decent villain.

I liked Everything Everywhere all at Once. Thought that it was better than Multiverse of Madness.
I'd give it a strong 7.5~8 out of 10.
It was a decent flick. I can understand how people might not like it. IMO, it's either a hit or a miss with folks. My son loved it. My daughter not so much.

I liked the concept behind it. The pacing was a bit fast for me, and the humor was a bit more….visceral….than I prefer. I’ll probably never eat another hotdog ever again
Everything Everywhere all at Once 8.5/10. Great film, in an indie kind of way. Not exactly "low-budget", but captures alot of that aesthetic.
Beginning half hour is pretty slow, but gets better after. Much of the story is allegorical, so you might not love it if you prefer films that are more literal. Tons of well-executed creative ideas, great performances from Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, and Jamie Lee Curtis. Very fun, and can be moving in parts. I understand if it's not for everyone, but it's a great film that accomplishes what it's going for.

I don't like to attach scores to things but I still think Alien is a 10/10 movie. Or at least just as good as Aliens, only different in tone.
I'll resign to say it does not hold up as well as Aliens does if you watch it now. But I like to keep in mind the time it was released when I judge things, and at the time that was an amazing sci-fi horror movie. Probably the best ever created to that point, and without a doubt influenced (and created) a whole genre of sci-fi horror films.

Yup, this is my understanding as well. I didn't see either of them until the late 90s, so Aliens is clearly the superior movie. But I've been told that seeing Alien in theaters when it released was a novel and amazing experience.
It's kindof like the Beatles. I'm sure they were amazing and super innovative at the time, but I'm from a generation where Beatles were already old. Plus, Beatles had such an impact on music, much of what they did has permeated into the musical subconscious, so it's easy to listen to it now and not hear anything special... their innovations and contributions are now such a part of the fabric of music today, we're like fish who don't realize we swim through water.
I'd say the same thing about Halo & Half-Life. I've heard lots of younger folks say they played through them several years after they released, and they don't see what the big deal is... not realizing that every fps game they play is based on the foundation that Halo & Half-Life built. Luckily everyone fully appreciates Quake.

Wifey and I had a similar take. We laughed a lot. Curtis’s was character was so outrageous.

Well said.
In the case of The Beatles though, i still listen to them regularly and still think they are incredible.
BTW, yes i watched that whole 6 hour Peter Jackson Let It Be documentary on Disney+ and was enthralled the whole way through.
