I picked that up myself for super cheap a few years ago. I never actually watched it yet. I think I only ever saw the first 3. I'll have to remember to watch them when it gets closer to Halloween.
I always thought of them as good summer time horror movies, since they usually take place in summer time.
We just watched them couple weeks ago since it actually was Friday the 13th.
Top Gun: Maverick 9/10 - really enjoyed it
It was like everything 11 year old me had hoped for from the original (which I wasn't a super big fan of).
Very touching bits of nostalgia, with an excellent crop of new pilots.
See it on the biggest screen you can. The sound was definitely turned up in our cinema, and it ROCKED.
Are your pockets full of macaroni and cheese, too?
See more of my horrible photos, and a few good ones here.

"Yes, but God has the right to get away with anything. Shoot animals, make ugly women, allow the existence of religious nuts, and watch liederhosen-wearing midget poodle-licking pornography. God's a sick bastard." - OzzieBloke
Watched all the Paul W.S. Anderson Resident Evil movies over the past week or so. I think I had only seen the first one and the last one previously (and none of the middle ones). Fun mindless stuff.
Ignore List: Keystone, Andino... -My Baron, he wishes to inform you that vendetta, as he puts it in the ancient tongue, the art of kanlee is still alive... He does not wish to meet or speak with you...-
"Either half my colleagues are enormously stupid, or else the science of darwinism is fully compatible with conventional religious beliefs and equally compatible with atheism." -Stephen Jay Gould, Rock of Ages.
"The Intelligibility of the Universe itself needs explanation. It is not the gaps of understanding of the world that points to God but rather the very comprehensibility of scientific and other forms of understanding that requires an explanation." -Richard Swinburne
My second viewing and it was better than the first.
I raise my score to 9.75/10 for pure fun factor that's not bogged down with a bunch of **** that doesn't need to be in the film.
Whole theater cheered and clapped at the end.

I finally saw Sonic 1
Surprisingly well done movie.
Pacing felt a bit rushed but otherwise it was fine.
Some continuity errors like during the slow mo bar scene sonic takes a picture with someones phone which somehow magically activates as fast as sonic moves lol.
And yes Jim Carry nailed the role, looked like he enjoyed playing Dr Robotnik.
Solid 7-8/10

Pretty much what I was looking for in a sequel. Could have been older college kids, etc, but the idea is continuing on the legacy rather than rebooting. It delivered.

The Northman. Capital B brutal. Its nice to see these occasional relatively historically accurate fables. The sets, costumes, culture, religions, supersitions ect all make for an interesting look every time.
By the same guy who made The VVitch so not surprised it had great production values and in this one a pretty big cast.
