The Sparks Brothers . . . 8/10

Doc about Sparks, the Mael brothers whose band helped start electronica and lasted five decades and 25 albums. I am not a huge Sparks fan-- I like "Tryouts for the Human Race" and "This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us"-- but I was entertained by their originality, tenacity, integrity, and audacity.

Watched Black Christmas (2019). Okay, this was a pretty bad movie. Hardcore feminist themes/agenda. Chris Stuckmann described the movie well when he called it a live action Twitter feud.

Saw "Free Guy" today with the family. I really enjoyed the movie, so did my wife and son. I got the many references more so than my wife and son for obvious reasons, but it was still very much enjoyable for them.

Watched "Map of Tiny Perfect Things" on Amazon. Was totally not what I expected, but enjoyed it greatly. Big Indie-film vibe... drama, not comedy. "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" meets "Groundhog Day."
