Snake Eyes: Japanese fight movie with G.I. Joe character names. 3/10. Story: trash. Plot holes: huge. If they called it by its more accurate name: “Street Fighting Punk Betrays Clan to Steal Glowing Rock” no one would watch it. Such a missed opportunity.

Blade Runner Final Cut.
Giving a rating would be cheating the movie.
The production value and the sets, the atmosphere holds up today to any movie that's tried to recreate the same ... or surpasses them.
The final scene between Hauer and Ford was perfect.

Watched the extended/unrated cut of Evil Dead (2013). Haven't watched the original/regular R-rated cut in awhile so not quite sure what the differences were (will have to read up on that). The regular R-rated cut was already really bloody/gory. Good movie and I'm, generally, a really big fan of this remake.Comment

Black Widow - 6/10 starts well and the first family reunion is funny, but the back half is bleh and just generally quite unsatisfying. Also why does the Taskmaster have the R3D logo on their shield?

Watched two movies: The Swarm and James and the Giant Peach (1996).
The Swarm is a French movie available on Netflix. About a mother who is farming locusts for food/flour. Turns out the locusts like blood. It's a slower-paced/slow burn movie but definitely worth a watch.
I watched James and the Giant Peach (1996) because I remember reading the book in 2nd or 3rd grade. Fun movie even though I don't remember at all how the book went in terms of story.Comment
