Wish Dragon - Netflix - 7/10 Yes it's Aladdin set in modern day China but it was a fun time even though the story is well known. Lots of mixed mythologies going on.

Quite Place 2 - 7/10 Liked it a bit better than the first. Strong The Last of Us vibes throughout. Still a few dumb things though. No scene as good as the bathtub from the first either.

                Gunpowder Milkshake

                It's a Netflix original movie

                Fun/10

Imo, if you enjoyed Kingsman, then I think you'll enjoy this. It's about an Assassin who goes against her mission so she can save an 8 year old girl. There is more to the story but I don't want to spoil it.

Edit:. Sorry, 8 and 3 quarters

                  Lansky: 6/10

Loved the subject, but felt more like a low level cable movie.

i loved the first Kingsman (let's just pretend Kingsman 2 never existed) so this might be right up my alley.

Ready Player One - 8.0. Okay the story is one we've all seen before but the sheer number of nostalgia references brought smiles every time. Even the Glaive from Krull! For some reason HBOMax didn't do Atmos when I saw it but eh the 5.1 was awesome, especially during the racing scene.

I got heavy “girl power” vibes from the trailer…not that “girl power” in and of itself is bad, but the last “girl power” movie I saw was the ghostbusters reboot and it almost ended me
