Yes day. The kids like it, it was pretty fun ! Jennifer Garner has some serious acting chops, and she was good in this one. The whole cast made it believable actually.

We're gonna watch Yes man tomorrow Been a while since I've seen that one

It's like unicorns vomiting chocolate rainbows all over me as I float through a lollipop garden on a magic carpet.

                Nobody.

Man, I needed that. Just a fun, better than expected, popcorn flick.

Watched Mockingbird (2014). It's an OK found footage movie. Slight difference from the usual is that they are forced to record. By the same director as The Strangers (2008).

The Hitman's Bodyguard - 6.5/10 - was Ok, but I'm finding alot of these movies have to much gun fire and not a great mix like the movie Nobody has.

Willy's Wonderland - 8 Nic Cages out of 10. Finally dropped to normal rental price so I gave it a go. I will also preface this with my love of Nic Cage movies and the other fact that I was under the influence. ANYWAYS! I had a good time with it and was not prepared for it. Holy smokes the pinball scene was classic Cage. Really need to get around to watching Mandy one of these nights.

The New Mutants - Not terrible. 6.5 or 7 / 10 I'm thinking. Probably one of the better "X-Men" universe movies I've seen, most likely cause it did it's own thing.

It was straight purestrain Cage Like I said, I have a weird relationship with Cage movies and I was high. I had fun. My rating is also in no way an endorsement for normal people.

I was not expecting a silent performance from him, the whole thing was absurd.

We both love Nioh Yellowbeard, but I have to side with KAC here...Ghost has got to be one of the best games released over the last 5 years.

Who said it wasn't a good game? I just said I had more fun with Days Gone as I had a more enjoyable time interacting with the gameplay elements than I did in Ghost. Horde dynamics alone were more enjoyable for me than clearing the nth Mongol camp. The duels were fun and there should have been a lot more of them. *shrug* Narratively it had a couple good story beats. The Tomoe quest was good as was stealth killing your first guy and immediately going into a memory where you're uncle effectively calls you an honorless pussy I will say, they should have given me the underwear armor earlier so I could have played the majority of the game in a straw hat and my bvds. It was a tight, well made game in a beautiful environment with amazing load times. I just had more fun with the janky post apocalyptic game.

Getting back into movies I watched Double Worlds a couple weeks ago on Netflix. It was pretty eh. like a 6 out of 10 or so. Wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. Chick with the huge sword had an interesting fighting technique of kicking it around. Made for a good visual show. Unfortunately, there weren't a whole lot of real engaging fights to watch. The preview Netflix played oversold it to me. Still, didn't feel like it was a waste of time.

                                      The Father

One of the Oscar contenders. It was good. One of the better movies I've seen recently for sure. Anthony Hopkins was as good as advertised.

It might not be for everybody. I think the credits mentioned it was based on a play. So the movie does have the feeling like it was a play adapted to the screen. It's mostly dialogue between a few characters in one location. I think there are only about 5 actors in it.

Above my expectations for a Netflix movie. Will have to re-listen to the launch sequence, sounded like there was some surround effects but Mom was using the kitchen through some of that. Communications was unrealistic but understandable. Was entertained though nothing really stood out, everyone did their jobs for a Netflix budget movie. Got to see Scott Manley listed in the credits though near the very end of that.
