Yea I mean I almost put on subtitles... shouldnt have to fiddle with the volume during a movie, super quiet at times then loud music.

child44. it was rather good too. set from the early 30s till about '53, it follows the main character's, Tom Hardy, difficulties in pursuing a child killer. after all, there are no murders in a workers paradise. it has a well put together cast in Gary Goldman and Noomi Rapace, Fares Fares, among others. it also has a very realistic feel to it. well worth watching, if you have prime

Liam plays a mortician and Ricci wakes up on his autopsy table and he convinces her shes dead, Justin meets the same fate like in Jeepers Creepers.

So with the kids we watched:

Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl 8/10
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead man's chest 8/10
Pirates of the Carribean: At world's End 7/10
Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tide 5/10
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead men tell no tales 7/10

The Greatest Showman: 7/10, songs were great but we saw most of them in clip form so we saw quite a lot of the story.

                        With the missus:

Death to 2020: 9/10, man Lisa Kudrow was hilarious and accurate.
The Mechanic: standard Statham fare, 7/10 because it sometimes did do the usual movie tropes.
Close: 7/10 not bad, again they went some place else than we're used in movies, I like that.

The midnight sky. Well, uhm, it was ok i guess, a bit stretched out, if not boring overall. You could see the "surprise" at the end from miles away and during the movie nothing really brilliant happened. That aside the story itself had plotholes bigger than the ego of KAC. George did an ok job, but overall i wouldn't really recommend the movie to anyone. But, as usual, maybe that was just me. I'll give it a generous 4/10

This sounds about right but it's still better than WW84.

A Sunburnt Christmas (2020) - 6.5/10 Australian Christmas move. Was okay but probably not great for anybody from elsewhere

Baby Driver (2017) - 7/10 decent, lots of music, shifting antagonist, lily james is hot

Superman: The Movie (1978) - 6/10 Meh. The start is dumb. Supe gaslights lois and her poem sucks. But the slapstick at the newspaper was funny and it's okay apart from that.

The Autopsy of Jane Doe (2016) - 7/10 decent horror and a naked girl, what more can you ask for?

The Transporter (2002) - 8/10 yeah good. Slick and smart action. Badass driving and some fun moments

Transporter 2 (2005) - 6/10 Nope. This one is pretty crap compared to the original. Action is dumb.

Wild Card (2015) - 5/10 Yikes this is horrible from Statham. Terrible story, not much action, bad characters.

Mortal Engines (2018) 7.5/10 Enjoyed it actually. Moving cities is cool, characters and goals are fun. Android is scary and likable. Not amazing but don't get why it was panned.

Drinking Buddies (2013) 7/10 Grounded dialogue works pretty well here for a relationship drama. Olivia Wilde and the dude work well together.

Now I know where they get ideas of bow and arrow and recent idea of hiding in mud from. The inspiration of this movie on games was quite clear. It is funny I never watched it until now even though I was a Stallone fan. Going to watch Rambo 3 next.
