Then they drop the inverse stuff for about 20 minutes, and jump to India and then suddenly start chasing down another guy. Then they dump a ton more exposition about some guy's wife and some painter she might be cheating with. None of which ends up being important.
After that the movie finally feels like it gets started and it's pretty enjoyable after that. But it's that first half hour that is really all over the place.
The whole inverse effect was well done, but the explanations they give are pretty brief. And then when it gets into the fast action, it's ends up being difficult to tell what the rules are and how it fits together with what you're seeing.
It kind of feels like a movie you need to watch a second time. But I don't know if it is good enough to really dedicate that amount of time to.
