UHD Bluray of Gemini Man. It is a 60fps presentation. I don't like it and it was very distracting. Movie was meh, but I don't know if the previously mentioned is partially to blame.
UHD Bluray of Spider-Man: Far From Home. Good presentation and entertaining movie.
Oh yeah, I forgot that I watched Gemini Man. Forgettable/10. Still got that uncanny valley going on which makes no sense after the Marvel movies did it so well.
Rewatched M:I Rogue Nation, 9/10. That switcharoo right at the beginning still gets me.
Rewatched SW the last jedi. I changed my mind, I don't hate it. Mainly becuase of the pop culture detective. I think the reason I didn't like it the first time was because of the crybabys complaining about it being too 'woke'. It was far from perfect but the story did make sense and it does tie in properly with the rise of skywalker. It wasn't pointless like some people claim because it gave Finn and Poe story arcs and left TRoS more time to deal with Rey and Ben's final arc.

Anyone else disappointed that new theatrical movies have essentially come to a halt?
Big block busters originally scheduled for summer 2020 or even out by now are pushed back to as late as 2021. Those that were delayed till around August are just going to be pushed back more with this second wave rising.
Obviously due to the pandemic, but why haven't the studios embraced releasing movies online? I know some are, but not really the major releases. They could even charge the same or slightly more than a ticket price for this convenience.

I for one am glad we are catching at least a bit of a break after all the crap they've been shoving down our throats for the past decade or so.

Not everyone has a full home theater so they don't get those sales. A lot of people will just wait until it hits their cable system or Netflix if they aren't going to the movies. With that, they want that theater money (and some of the movie companies have specific deals with movie theaters which prevent them from going straight to digital).
Ad Astra - yawn/10
I'm so glad I didn't pay money to see this in the theater even though I imagine the space visuals would have added at least a semblance of value to this waste of time.

Holy crap... that was a shitty movie. I was expecting something to happen... and nothing....
Just watched Death Note (2017). Thought it was pretty good, but then I haven't seen the anime it is based off of. Adam Wingard's movies always have excellent sound design. They just sound so good and "clean".
JoJo Rabbit. 10/10. Amazing movie. Best film I've seen in a long time.
End of Nazi-era Germany thought the eyes of a child is a fascinating premise. The film perfectly blends humor with hard-hitting drama, great performances from every actor involved. Taika Waititi is especially good as a very silly Hitler.
