What's the last movie you saw?

Hanna: Pretty decent. Would recommend as a rental. Simple plot with a bit of a fantastical premise that manages to stay gritty and down to earth enough to suspend disbelief. Will remind you in some ways of a Luc Besson film: Ms. Ronan's performance in this is comparable with Natalie Portman's in The Professional, and it's all around well acted. Simple script, but tells a good story with actions. As far as electronic music scores go, I'd put this Chemical Bros. soundtrack up next to Daft Punk's efforts in Tron any day, but that's just my opinion.

The Lincoln Lawyer: Again, pretty decent. Would recommend as a rental for most fans of the genre, and to see in the theater for fans of John Grisham books/films. Film is well acted, but the action is a slow rolling boil rather than a quick ramp up to the climax. The resolution is a little too easily attained, however, and fairly predictable. A decent script, but could have used a nice punch-up in the tension department towards the end.

On its own it's a good movie with a brilliant ost as well. I liked the cast too, not a bunch of teens like most sequels today. It followed the same tradition of middle aged middle-of-nowhere-gas-station clerks that operate space ships.

I secretly like it to, but compared with alien and aliens its not in the same calibre.

I watched all 4 alien movies within 1 week. For me, all movies were the same. There were no differences literally in storyline. Everytime it was the same crap over and over. I kept wanting Ripley to become a bad ass. Finally, in Alien Resurrection, she becomes a bad ass. That is why I liked it also.

Overall, all films were good but watching them within 1 week meant that you can see how all films were exactly the same in terms of storyline, thrills, direction and such.

Alien has a certain weight and relative realism to it whereas Alien Resurrection is comic book-esque. Aliens covered that style already and better.

You piqued my interest - 92% on RT .. ended up watching it last night.

Not bad for a dramedy.. certainly better than the recent Judd Apatow movies I have seen that seem to get rave reviews.

A younger Scarlett Johansson & Steve Buscemi - good cast .

Might have to skim through it again.. fell asleep several times because I took an extra-strength Benadryl before watching.. damn allergies .

So happy the reviews are almost universally good...the Thor IP is something I would say is easily botch-able on film, but by most accounts this film gets it right in the campy swashbuckling and godly-asskickery departments, respectively.
