Some new pics of the little guy.

We've settled on the name Turk as it has been an inside joke between my group of friends that started when one of them was pregnant and its now been used to "name" 3 different children before their born and the couples reveal the actual name. That and I'm not a fan of "people" names for animals so I like them a bit different.
It is amazing how quickly he's grown. The first day he was just over 10lbs and could barely get his paws on the top of the mattress; now, he's just shy of 18lbs and can nearly jump into it without assistance. He is a natural Floridian for sure because I've never seen a dog hate crab grass as much as us as; he loves to dig and roll around in some of the bushes in the backyard that have died due to the cold spells over the last few weeks.
Still figuring out the whole pee/poop outdoors thing. Still figuring out the 2 year old nephew. Still figuring out whatever he sees does not need to go into his mouth.
He's awesome though, so glad we got him, and wouldn't trade any of the "difficult" times for the fun ones. After Chance, my last dog, went blind it put a damper on the games we could still play and I forgot how relaxing it is to come home and just dick around with a dog for 30 minutes with a tennis ball or a long walk through the neighborhood.
