She spent 2 days doing what seemed to be looking for Jersey, off and on throughout the days. I'd find her wandering from room to room with her head on a swivel, stop...and then just look everywhere and then start smelling. She'd stand at an intersection in my house (multi-level) where she could see up the stairs, down the stairs, into the living room and kitchen at the same time. She go back and forth, just standing there looking like she was waiting/looking for him.Originally posted by jtpeace View Post

He's one of the smartest dogs I've ever had. He's already learned so much in just two days, really good, obedient pup. Loves other dogs too, the off leash dog park is heaven for him. We weren't actually going to get a dog, well we did look, but the wife didn't have a connection with any of the dogs we saw. I saw this dog, and instantly felt like we had a bond. He had a sign on his kennel that said "potential ringworm," so we checked on that, they said they wouldn't hear back until later in the week, so we kind of dropped it. I kept thinking about him however, and when they said the results would be in I checked back with the shelter, as did my wife (without telling me). They never got the results back, but they did stop treating him for ringworm on the 10th, I doubt he ever actually had it, but either way, the wife and I talked it over, and I was ready to go, but she knew how I felt about this pup, so she gave me the go ahead to pick him up, and I got him. He's been great. He does have kennel cough right now, he's almost over it, and I got him on some antibiotics to help kick it. He's learning hand signal commands now, and doing great at that.

After losing this guy in August due to some health issues:
Yesterday, I adopted this little serial cuddler.
They're saying he is a beagle mix but I think he has some definite lab features. He's 13 weeks old and already minds quite well. Will definitely be a fun journey, he's my first puppy, as my previous ones have all been adults/near adults when I adopted them. Just some quick cell phone snaps in an overly dark room, but I'll try and get some better ones if he actually sits still for a friggin second.
