Can't see your pics, his dad is over 200lbs and his Mom is quite large for a female.

All I know is right now he is super healthy and the most amazing animal I have ever owned.

They are vids of BMW Danes for size reference and the lower one is a running Dane beside a vehicle... Elegant beasts for sure!

200lbs of likes to lean against you like no other and likes to sleep as close as they can possibly get to you.

Buddy had a dane that liked to reverse-spoon (back - to - back) me when I slept over there. My back has never hurt so much the next day

Yea he eats raw -- duck, bison & bone, beef & bone, beef & organ, turkey & bone, chicken & bone...etc

Currently, about $300/month -- but it should slow down as he matures.

His favourite thing is raw turkey necks -- watching him destroy those is disturbing, he would have no problem tearing my arm off if he wanted too.

I had a grand uncle that showed them in the 60's and 70's and had up to 40 Great Danes at the same time
always had 3 to 6 in the house

I've had 4 saints and once full grown they ate about 4 to 6 cups of good dry food a day plus about a 3/4 cup of grilled boneless chicken breast on top in two meals and would not over eat

unlike my bloodhound now she would eat the whole 30 pound bag at once

I've never done the raw, tried it once and my male saint would spit raw meat back at me
