Brain and head were great, body not so much. Unable to move, uncontrolled toilet functions, countless bouts of crying/wimpering and heavy breathing. He looks great in the pic but heavy pain meds can do that.
Mind was brilliant. Snoopy (fox terrier) was a Stephan Hawking ... although his 16.5 yo body was a problem.Day 7 without brandy and coke and I'm starting to lose hearing in my left eye.

Thanks all. It's the first time I've had to euthanize a family pet. Seems so wrong to take a life. Putting him out of his misery is the only solace I have.
FWIW, he was ~15 years and pretty large built at 85 lbs.Member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race-"Doesn't any game maker know how to make a PC feeling game anymore? I hate all this console afterbirth crap we're getting lately."

and all 4 times I've had to do it are still fresh in my mind
but my last Saint with Degenerative Myelopathy was the hardest
her being paralyzed but fully alert and not in pain was a heart breaker

This is what I end up with even after all of the pictures ice trolled me with:
The man who in times of popular excitement boldly and unflinchingly resists hot-tempered clamor for an unnecessary war, and thus exposes himself to the opprobrious imputation of a lack of patriotism or of courage, to the end of saving his country from a great calamity, is, as to "loving and faithfully serving his country," at least as good a patriot as the hero of the most daring feat of arms, and a far better one than those who, with an ostentatious pretense of superior patriotism, cry for war before it is needed, especially if then they let others do the fighting. - Carl Schurz

I can hopefully take my mid-tour leave soon to get home and deal with placing him. I thought he was holding a piece of friggin asparagus at first
I'm found out I really have a massive dislike for tiny little dogs despite me being such an animal lover. If they're males they're even more annoying to me because of their stupid dicks and balls flopping around. My girlfriend found a tiny little terrier mix wandering around months ago and he's not but a pain in the ass and dumb as a bag of rocks. I ****ing walk up to him and he falls over and spread his god damn legs and shows me his nuts. I want to throw him out the window.

It's OK to not like small dogs, but you're bordering on having a complex
Also, he's not eating an asparagus??? I swear he is.Originally posted by OzzieblokeI mean, yeah, sure, there's benefits to a shaved asshole. But get a little sweaty and try and blow a fart. It just sits there like a bubble. No hair to break the seal. Feels weird.
