Thanks all. It's the first time I've had to euthanize a family pet. Seems so wrong to take a life. Putting him out of his misery is the only solace I have.

Sometimes that's the best thing we can do for our pets. It's more wrong (IMO) to allow them to suffer longer than absolutely necessary, so you did the right thing. It's no good second-guessing that choice...believe me, it's still fresh in my mind.Originally posted by Destroy View Post

and all 4 times I've had to do it are still fresh in my mind
but my last Saint with Degenerative Myelopathy was the hardest
her being paralyzed but fully alert and not in pain was a heart breaker

I thought he was holding a piece of friggin asparagus at first
I'm found out I really have a massive dislike for tiny little dogs despite me being such an animal lover. If they're males they're even more annoying to me because of their stupid dicks and balls flopping around. My girlfriend found a tiny little terrier mix wandering around months ago and he's not but a pain in the ass and dumb as a bag of rocks. I ****ing walk up to him and he falls over and spread his god damn legs and shows me his nuts. I want to throw him out the window.
