the pup fell off the bed 2 weeks ago and could not walk on one back leg
200 bucks to the vet and then 700 more to a specialty veterinary surgeon to put her under so they could get better x-rays and move the leg without her screaming, found out it was a abscess in the muscle
a week of antibiotics and she is fine

Then she claims that the Tree is hers... she attacks it and takes off anything she can get her paws on. From lights, ornaments..etc. Every morning i come down and there's a new mess of sorts!

My cat is obsessed with trying to get into the shower. She'll even sit on the edge of the tub and watch me shower - the entire time sometimes. I keep telling her she doesn't want to get in the shower, but she doesn't listen and always acts like she's going to jump in it when I turn it on.

My cat is kinda curious with the same thing as she plays with the water drops, but as soon as there's a bit of pressure she takes off.

Our boots does the same. He nests about mid way up the tree - head poking out like an ornament. So cute yet so annoying.

RIP Konsta 199x - 2014 - had to bury him today.



It's weird. I've seen hundreds of people who I knew were going to die soon, I've had a child die on me, I've stayed up watching people take their last breath during nights and was there when my father died - I never shed a tear.

But without shame, I can say I cried over a cat.

Same for me. I watched my dad breathe his last breath, and while it was brutal, saying goodbye to my cat was much tougher. Very sorry for your loss, but your friend gave you much, including memories that last and (in my experience) deepen.

Sad to hear daPhoenix, also it's understandable that you feel that way, you had a strong emotional attachment to your cat, only an animal lover would get that.

For what it's worth, it sounded like he had good innings, but I know that's no consolation.

She would wait for me at the end of my yard when I walked home from the bus stop, I'd see her flying out the front door and she'd stop at the curb like she ran into an invisible wall. She'd just stand there with her tail wagging like crazy until I got to the yard. I remember sitting in the back seat of the car for two hours with her curled in my lap as a 10 week old puppy, when we had her cremated we picked up her remains and I rode back from the vet with her in my lap one last time.

I went for the wolves as they have no place to go. Pretty much in prison for doing nothing wrong. I'm a sucker for critters that have no other options.

That's how I ended up with the pitty.
