Iconic cartoonist Bill Watterson famously retired at the height of Calvin & Hobbes' success in 1995. Now, 28 years later he is coming back - but not for a kids comic strip (not that Calvin & Hobbes was ever just for kids).

The Mysteries is a new 72-page book by Watterson and fellow artist John Kascht are creating what is described as "a fable for grown-ups." Scheduled to be published by Andrews McMeel Publishing in late 2023, The Mysteries has reportedly been in the works for years in what's described as an "unusually close collaboration."

Just bought a 1 TB 980 Pro SSD for the PS5, and No Man Sky because they announced a PSVR2 update soon. Would've bought Gran Turismo 7, but it's full price (90 $ CDN is too rich for my blood).

I figured, with all the PSVR 2 games coming, I don't feel like micro-managing game space... I never uninstall VR games since I play them all randomly.

Some new headphones - Monoprice Monolith 1060C planar magnetics. So far they are pretty awesome for the price. You do really need to feed them with an amp, 'tho; they like power and have really low impedance so some devices will struggle. They are also pretty heavy at 17oz.

Geeze there are models of the new fangled induction stoves that are half the price of this. Is gotta be that wifi jacking the price up. I mean the air fryer function is nifty but shouldn't add that much of a premium to a normal gas stove.

Some certified 21 gbps HDMI cabling to replace old 18 gbps that might be the cause of black screens on the htpc... seems stable for now... at least it hasnt black screened in 3 hours of streaming whereas it used to do it every 10 min to every hour or so. Also a DP 1.4 certified one to replace the old dp 1.2 that also might the cause of instability on the vega 64. Really odd to see that being the cause.

Er, he did say it's his second one. Besides having firearms just randomly hidden about isn't a good idea if some kid manages to find one. Knowing Bill is pretty handy, probably has the safes behind hidden doors. Custom home builders here in TX seem to specialize in those.

2 of these el cheapo kits... so going from 16 gigs to 64. Was getting tired of the out of memory and chrome ram eating browser issues...

Timings arent too bad eithert you can tigthen them up to 16-18-18-38 at 1.4v. I got the 3200 speed ones because the old x370 doesnt really go much higher than that stable. And the 5800X3D doesnt really take advantage of faster ram much.
